Roses

Call me old-fashioned but I think there's still nothing as romantic as receiving a surprise bouquet of deep red roses from your loved one :-) The cheerful uncle who delivered it seems to enjoy his job very much too!

    So sweet of your SO! I am old fashioned too and I love my flowers. I will never tell my SO not to waste money and not buy flowers etc., Call me frivolous but I want to be romanced! And not just when we are dating! It is important to keep the romance/magic alive always.

    Yeah, I happened to be feeling like crap and then the delivery guy showed up out of the blue with the bouquet, and I was just so touched :-) Though I did have to nag my boyfriend a couple of times about having to keep the romance alive!

    my boyfriend works overseas, so he had to get it delivered. Of course it would have been even better if he could have been the one to deliver it!

    The roses are beautiful!!! I'm happy for you, Iris! The bear is so cute :) I think my boyfriend would enjoy sending me flowers too, but it's too bad that I don't like flowers as they tend to irritate my nose. Oh well, at least I'm ok with candy :D

    flowers!! how sweet :) i LOVE deep red roses. it'd more of a surprise thing though, i don't think i'd PICK deep red roses if my bf took me to the shop and asked me what i wanted.. you know? and the flower bearer.. hahaha :) i like your joke

    Aww, that's so sweet. I think red roses are romantic too. More tasteful than those funky colours.

    I don't know if you'd be interested but the August issue of Cutie comes with a cute teddy bear plush mirror thing. I ordered one since I love all things fuzzy. Check it out!
