Shu Uemura Morphorium Collection

Aside from the Paul & Joe collection, I'm also looking very much forward to the Shu Uemura Morphorium collection. Designed by Uchiide Kakuyasu and inspired by the morpho butterfly, the brand's 132nd mode makeup collection is set for release on 21 January in Japan.

  2. That promo picture looks really pretty, but I'm not sure that the palette shown will give such an iridescent glow to the eyes. It is a pretty compact case, though

  4. hi,
For eyeliner, I recommend Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils as these are pigmented with great colour payoff. They really glide on very smoothly without tugging at the eyelid and they last extremely well after setting. Pencils are easier to control if you are just starting out to use eyeliner. For liquid eyeliner, my daily staple is Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Liner which you can find easily at Watsons if you are in Singapore.

For mascara, I like Visee Lash Wide Impact (Curl Long) mascara as it really helps to hold the curl of my lashes throughout the day but it is not sold in Singapore. You can try Canmake Gokubuto mascara which is very popular in Japan. The Majolica Mascara mascaras are also famous for being smudge-proof but they can be difficult to remove even with eye makeup remover (they are best removed with a cleansing oil).
