Shu Uemura Planet Cat

I'm not a cat person at all but I am deeply lemming the Shu Uemura by Tsumori Chisato collection, "Planet Cat", as I love anything with a cute star print. The price points are horribly high and will probably be marked up even more for Singapore so I'd probably only pick up just one item or two.

Planet Cat Palette (7140yen): 3 pressed eyeshadow, 2 cream eyeliner/highlighter, Glow-on blush, sponge tip applicator and brush

Rouge Unlimited (3465yen each) in Venus Pink, Moon Peach and Jupiter Brown

Mini Brush Set (6825yen): lip/eyeliner brush (sable), eyeshadow brushes in sable and synthetic, face/cheek brush (goat)

  5. I love the prints! But the prices are quite depressing =( Hopefully the GWP for the Dec issue of InRed will have a similar print. It's supposed to be a ribbon and star print big tote but I've no idea what it will look like.

I have no info on when this collection will launch in Singapore but my guess is sometime in November.

    Hey plue,
I'm eyeing the vanity pouch :-) Thanks for pointing out the mistake in labelling the palettes, have corrected it!

  12. Ohhh, this is too cute! I especially LOVE the large vanity case, it's so different! I hope this'll be available in the States, but even so I doubt I could justify what promises to be stupid-high prices, lol

I'm pretty sure this collection will be released in the US as well since it has been reported in various US media, including WWD.

  24. Hi haru, i just want to ask if you know those brushes in shu uemura's brush set are worth buying, as in if they're comparable to those sold individually. coz i've heard that those mac brush sets are inferior in comparision. hope you can help me with this! thanks! =)

  25. Hi tikibook,
I'm not sure if the Shu brushes in the sets are the same as the brushes that are sold individually. For MAC, the brushes sold in sets are machine made while the ones sold individually are hand made and there is quite a noticeable difference. For Shu, from what I can recall, the quality of their brush sets is pretty good but the prices are usually still quite high so I've never really been tempted by any of their sets.
