Addiction Spring 2018

Addiction will launch its Spring 2018 collection on 5 January in Japan. The collection includes a revamp of their powder blushes, which will now be available in 25 single shades and 5 blush trios (2800yen). There will also be Tibet-inspired shades named Forbidden City and Suspicious in the powder blush formula, as well as Cheek Stick and Cheek Polish. With purchase of 10000yen, there will be a free gift compact featuring two different illustrations by Hiroshi Tanabe. Pics by Biteki.

Addiction will also release a Stolen Kiss liquid lipstick collection comprising 5 new shades and 1 LE shade on 2 February.

Primavista Moomin Collection

How adorable is this Primavista limited edition collection featuring Moomin? The Long Keep Base UV and foundation case will be released in online retailers on 31 October and in stores on 28 November in Japan while the mini-sized loose powder will launch in mid-December.

Shu Uemura Spring 2018

Forever Juicy Oil Rouge Tint (2800yen, 10ml): #1 Forbidden Fruit (true red), #2 Candy Factory (pop pink), # Mango Mix (juicy coral), #4 Ruby Cassis (cassis red) and #5 Happy Very Berry (magenta pink, LE). All the shades do not contain any pearl shimmer. Formulated with peach kernel oil and strawberry extract.


2. Crystal Bloom Blessed Love Eau de Parfum (5500yen, 30ml), Perfumed Body Lotion (4000yen, 200ml) and Perfumed Hand Cream (2400yen, 40g)

Esprique Glow Eye Veil

If you used to be a fan of Kose Eye Fantasist metallic cream eyeshadows, you may want to check out Esprique's new Glow Eye Veil launching on 16 November. There are 8 shades retailing at a very reasonable 1200yen each. They supposedly last up to 10 hours and contain lucent pearl pigments for a translucent lustrous finish and red algae extract for moisturising benefits.

Paul & Joe Spring 2018

Now that autumn is finally here, it's time for previews of the Spring 2018 collections! First up is Paul & Joe with yet another variation of their favourite feline theme but with a retro twist in the form of eyeshadow cards made to look like vintage records. Due out on 5 January in Japan, the Face & Eye Color CS #113 April in Paris and #114 French Pop (2500yen) each include three shades. #113 is composed of pink ivory, fresh green and warm red while #114 includes petal pink, pop pink and spring coral. Visee Matte Lip Lacquer

Visee will launch its new Matte Lip Lacquer (1500yen, 6 shades) on 16 November in Japan. The soft mousse formula supposedly helps to make lips look plumper without emphasising the lip lines. Pics from Maquia.

Cosme Decorte AQ MW Holiday 2017

Here are more pics from Biteki of the Cosme Decorte AQ MW Eternal Moment coffret (7000yen) set for release on 1 November in Japan. It includes a beige pink Eye Glow Gem, a purplish brown Lasting Gel Eyeliner, a ladylike pink Rouge Glow and a pink cream blush paired with a dewy highlighter, all housed in a gorgeous vintage cake-esque box.

According to Maquia, there will be two limited edition shades of Eye Glow Gem launching on 1 December as part of a collaboration with hair and makeup artist Yusuke Kawakita. One is described as a sexy navy blue with silver and blue pearl while the other is a deep bordeaux with red and purple pearl.

Majolica Majorca Fall 2017 featuring Milky Skin Remaker

Majolica Majorca is finally releasing a new foundation this fall on 21 October in Japan. The Milky Skin Remaker SPF28 PA+++ (1700yen, 10g) is a gel-type foundation that melds onto the skin to help create the look of a soft, fresh, milky complexion. Refills will retail at 1300yen. Sadly, it is available in only 2 shades, Light Beige and Natural Beige, because clearly, even in Japan, only these two light skin tones are worth catering to (*shaking my head*). It performs the following five functions: foundation, primer, sunscreen, finishing powder and moisture veil. There will also be a limited edition Sugar Moment Body & Hair Cream (800yen, 100g).

Anna Sui Holiday 2017
