Kanebo Fall 2017

Kanebo will launch its Fall 2017 collection under its eponymous global prestige brand on 8 September in Japan. It includes:

1. Selection Color Eyeshadow #6 (5500yen, 4.5g)


2. Intense Crayon Rouge (6 shades, 3500yen, 1.8g)
3. Lip Primer (3200yen)
4. Variant Brosse (Contour) (2500yen for refill, 2000yen for case, 1000yen for brush, 4g)


5. Luster Cream Foundation SPF12 PA+ (12000yen, 30ml, 8 shades of which one will be available only in markets outside of Japan)
6. Tone Up Primer SPF15 PA++ (6000yen, 30ml)
7. Foundation Brush (5000yen)


8. Eyebrow Mascara (2 shades, 2800yen, 4.3ml)
9. Volume Framing Mascara (3800yen, 7.7ml)


10. Skin Gloss Oil Water (50ml, 5000yen). The Skin Gloss In Oil can be used on the face, body and hair. The ingredients list according to the Kanebo website are as follow: squalene, glycerin, diphenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone, olive oil, dimethicone, propanediol, water, fragrance, macadamia nut oil, jojoba seed oil, sorbitan isostearate, sodium citrate, avocado oil, evening primrose seed extract, phenoxyethanol, Red 504.

11. Skin Tightening Cream (20000yen, 40ml)

12. Fulfilling Emulsion (12000yen, 100ml)

13. Graceful Flow Lotion (10000yen, 180ml)

Kanebo Spring 2017

Kanebo will expand its new eponymous global prestige brand's lineup with nine makeup products on 10 February and skincare on 3 March. The skincare line is supposedly designed to be attuned to women's monthly hormonal fluctuations. Aside from the new powder foundation and tri-tone brow powder, there will also be six new lipsticks that are a revival of Kanebo's former flagship drugstore brand T'estimo's bestselling Rouge Clear rose-based shades, reformulated with the latest modern technology.

KANEBO was launched in September 2016 in Japan and November 2016 in Southeast Asian countries including Singapore, and will be available in Europe and Russia in 2017. Read the press release here.

Kanebo Launches New Global Prestige Brand

Kanebo marks its 80th anniversary with the launch of its new global prestige brand, named simply 'Kanebo' on 15 September in Japan, and starting from November in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and the Philippines, and in 2017 in Europe and Russia. Kanebo is holding a sale at the Cozycot office in Shaw Centre from next Wednesday 27 July to Friday 29 July. The sale includes brands like Lunasol, Kate and Coffret D'Or. I heard from a friend that Lunasol's eyeshadow quads will be on 50% discount, which is extremely rare. Details in the pic below.

I swatched the new Eyes Appeal quads recently but most of the shades were disappointingly sheer and run-of-the-mill. The Beauty Shape Designer palettes look cute with the heart motifs but were also not that special when swatched.

Robinsons Beauty Fair

Robinsons is holding another Beauty Fair from 23 October to 8 November with the preview for cardmembers from 21-22 October. MAC's Magic, Mirth and Mischief holiday color collection will also be exclusively available at Robinsons (Raffles City) from 21-27 October while Dior will launch its Christmas Look collection at the Centrepoint Atrium from 21-27 October. The Chanel will also have the Christmas collection for preview starting 21 October.

Robinsons Beauty Festival

Robinsons is holding another beauty festival from 8-24 April with gifts with purchases (GWPs) galore and additional gifts for card members.


One item that is bound to sell out quickly is the Bobbi Brown Runway Collection Set (S$150 with a retail worth of S$250) that will be exclusively available at Robinsons from 8-14 April. That palette looks lovely indeed but the previous versions tended to have more shimmer than color payoff with many of the shades virtually indistinguishable from one another once applied. The set includes the Runway Shimmer Brick Eye Palette, a silver metal compact featuring ten sheer, pure pearl eye shadows; a sparkling Pink Crystal Glitter Lip Balm; and mini Eye Shadow and Lip Brushes.




MAC will also launch its Color Ready collection exclusively at Robinsons from 8-21 April.
