Addiction Fall 2014 Tokyo Story

Addiction held its press preview for its upcoming 5th Anniversary collection, Tokyo Story, for autumn today in Tokyo. Actress/model Rila Fukushima (of Wolverine fame) fronts the ad campaign, which is the first time Addiction is using a Japanese model. Set for release on 1 August, the collection includes:

1. Blush: 4 shades (2800yen)

2. Eyeshadow: 8 shades inspired by kimonos (2000yen)

3. Nail Polishes (1800yen)

4. Mascara

5. Liquid eyebrow: 2 shades (2200yen)

6. Liquid eyeliner: 6 shades that can be removed with warm water (2800yen)

The three 5th Anniversary Limited Compact palettes will be released on 11 July and retail at 6200yen each.

Love that they used an Asian model for the promo picture. To be honest, it genuinely annoys me to see most Japanese brands promote with a Caucasian model when their target market is nearly uniformly Asian.

As for the collection, it looks very creative and well done per usual!
