Currently in its 7th year, Addiction has finally taken its first steps towards becoming a global makeup brand with its launch in Shinsegae Duty Free in South Korea in May. It will next launch in Hong Kong this autumn. Hopefully Addiction's international expansion will go more successfully than that of fellow Kose-owned brand Jill Stuart, which grounded to a halt after the trifecta of South Korea/Hong Kong/Taiwan, supposedly because of its lack of success in the fiercely competitive South Korean market.
Addiction's upcoming Oil Cleansing (3500yen) will be released on 2 September in Japan. Formulated with seven botanical oils including organic jojoba seed oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, camellia oil, olive squalene, sage oil and meadowfoam oil.
