Jill Stuart Aquatic Nymph

The Jill Stuart website has been updated with the summer '09 makeup collection, Aquatic Nymph.

The ten shades of the new Jelly Eye Color N (2310yen) look similar to the previous line-up but the more interesting complex green and blue shades have been eliminated. Nevertheless, the pink and purple shades do look pretty.

I'll be visiting Kyoto from 3-6 June, just in time to check out the release of this collection on 5 June. Can't wait!

Have fun in Kyoto! If you get a chance, the June issue of Bea's Up shows the new Jelly Eyes with swatches.

MJ new eyeshadows palettes are out at Watson's Ngee Ann City branch. Also, I picked up a new Maybelline eyeshadow quad (there are a few new palettes) at a promo price of SGD15.90 at Watson's paragon branch over the weekend.

It should still be cool in June in Tokyo, so just bring along light clothing with light coat and sweater. It is also the rainy season so bring along an umbrella and shoes that won't fall apart when they get wet.

As for where to visit, you've pretty much named all the places that I usually recommend. If you're into museums, you should check out the Roppongi area which has become a hub of museums of sorts. You can also check out the huge H&M store, Kiddyland, Agnes B stores in Harajuku. Agnes B is quite a bit cheaper in Japan than Singapore so their bags and accessories are good buys.

Hi,

Why not try Nikko, which is much more beautiful than Yokohama? It's further away, about a couple of hours by train (coach services are available too but can take much longer if there's a traffic jam). Nikko is a beautiful town up in the hills around a lake.
