Kinokuniya mag freebies

Kinokuniya at Ngee Ann City currently has a couple of exclusive freebies. With purchase of the Singapore edition of Harper's Bazaar, you can get a four-piece Shu Uemura skincare set that includes the Fresh Cleansing oil and the new Phyto Black skincare series. The new issue of L'Officiel (Singapore) also comes with a Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet fragrance miniature set. Both looked pretty tempting but I managed to restrain myself and walk away :-)

Also, the renovation hoardings have gone up around the right-hand side section of the Watsons store in Ngee Ann City, which means Majolica Majorca and Gransenbon should be making their appearance soon! I hope that Watsons will also consider bringing in other Japanese brands such as Excel and Love Clover. Excel actually has a more impressive line-up (e.g their eyeshadow duos and gradation blushes) compared to Gransenbon although they should really revamp the tacky gold plastic packaging. I think Lavshuca would have done better than Gransenbon as well but I guess I'll be content with seeing MM and Gransenbon on these shores for now.

Hi Yz,

Yes, we're getting Gransenbon! This has been confirmed by some Singaporean ladies with insider info on Cozycot. The pricing of the blusher is supposed to be under S$30 but with the Japanese yen going up, I'm not sure if they will be able to price it affordably enough to attract many ladies, especially given that you can spend just a few dollars more for a blush from MAC with better color payoff.
