Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux

According to this FANet post, the new line of Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux that will debut in January each contain an eyeshadow shade in 4 different finishes. Using the latest technology, the eyeshadow particles have been reduced to just one-fifth of the original size for a silky and soft finish. The four textures (from top left of the compact in a clockwise direction) are:
1. matte: pure, pigmented and silky
2. light pearly: made with 20% mother-of-pearl for an elegant finish
3. intense pearly: made with 45% mother-of-pearl for a gorgeous finish
4. spangle :made with shimmer particles that are larger than the normal mother-of-pearl

These can also be used to create a gradational effect. Due out on 15 January in Japan, the 16 shades will retail for 3780yen each.

Interesting to hear about the new technology, but do we really need 4 different textures of 1 same, exact color?!?! Personally, there are very few shades that I want in 4 different textures.

OT and sry if you already posted this but do you know exactly what date the Nature's Eyes Lunasol palettes come out in January 2010 in Japan and also when it will available to purchase online for US shoppers? Thanks.

Hi,
The collection will be released on 15 January in Japan so the online shops like ichibankao.com and bobodave.com should have it available for purchase around that date. But with the yen rising so strongly against the dollar, I expect the prices in US$ to be quite high as well.

i agree with the first comment about 4 different textures for 1 same colour. It's a bit odd. i'd love to see this in person. the colour does look very nice, nevertheless.

Hi Haru,

This is totally unrelated to the above subject, but how may I contact you? I would like to solicit your makeup advice if possible. Thanks.
