Bourjois Vintage Collection

Voce covered the Bourjois press event for their upcoming holiday releases. Although I don't own that many Bourjois products aside from the Bourjois mini eyeshadows, it's always one of my favourite brands to check out at the drugstore as it always has bright, fun colours in the line-up which is a refreshing change from the death-by-pink/pastel approach of many Japanese brands.

I developed an incredible lemming for this Vintage Collection set of treats even before I knew what was inside! It includes 5 best-selling eye colours and 3 cheek colors in Bourjois' vintage package design from the 19th and early 20th century. The set will retail for a whopping 16,275yen starting 1 December exclusively at L'Eclaireur Tokyo, a designer boutique store in Minami Aoyama. In the UK, the eye colors retail individually for £5.75 and the cheek colors are £6.25, which means you can buy the whole set (without the case) for £47.50, much cheaper than the Japan price which works out to be about £100 for the entire set.

More easily available is the lipgloss in a mirror ball pendant (2625yen).

Bourjois will also launch a new line of lipsticks, Sweet Kiss Lip (10 shades, 2100yen) in early 2009.
