Luxasia Sale

My flight landed at 5pm and I managed to make it to the Luxasia sale 1.5 hours before it ended as the sale location was just a 15 minute walk from my home :-) To my surprise, there was still quite a lot of Stila, RMK and YSL makeup left, plus a wide assortment of perfumes.

I got these great bargains:
Stila Kitten Silk Eye Shadow Wash S$8
Stila Sharpener S$5
Stella McCartney In Two Peony EDT 70ml & Body Milk 50ml S$40
Vera Wang Sheer Veil Shimmering Bath & Shower Gel S$10
Calvin Klein Euphoria Sensual Bath & Shower Creme 200ml S$8
Calvin Klein Euphoria Blossom Body Wash 200ml S$10
Savon Extra Pur Rose Soap 100g S$4
Savon Extra Pur Orange Soap 100g S$4

Total damage S$89

I had been lemming the Stella McCartney perfume range for the longest time, so I was very happy to get the Peony set for such a great price. The original sale price was S$59, but this was marked down to S$40 on the last day of the sale. Looking forward to next year's sale!

Hi Haru,

I went down to the Luxasia Sale at 6.30 to pick up Stella McCartney in Two Peony too. I had been wanting to purchase it since reading about it from PJ's A touch of Blusher review, but held back for some reason.

I bought a number of Lanvin Rumeurs (50ml for SGD23) and Rumeurs Rose and Mariah Carey's M (SGD18) to give out as gifts.

But I thought the really show stopping deal was Aqua Di Parma's items which had almost a 80% discount. Aqua Di Parma is a brand from Italy (now acquired by LVMB). They use their range of products at their spa if I am not wrong. Their Blu Mediterrano EDT range for 60ml was going for SGD18, usual price SGD89 (if I recall correctly). It's not often that I find smells like this, but I'd say Acqua Di Parma smells like Italy. hehe. I nabbed 4 bottles of the 60ml EDT in different variants, 2 body cream (a regenerating body cream and a relaxing body cream), and a pumice (with sea salt) scrub (usual price SGD109), each for the good price of SGD18.

Absolutely fantastic.

Wow, great haul! Those look like pretty awesome deals. =) I love the Stella McCartney line, but I only have her Stella rollerball. I'm really sad that I wasn't more into perfume when the peony scent was more readily available.

I went there again on Sunday also & got myself 2 single color eyeshadow from RMK. Although they cost SGD15 each (almost 60% off), it is still way cheaper than the retail price of SGD36 at the Isetan counter. BTW, I thought Luxasia sales runs twice each year.

Hi Jojoba,

Stila is also pulling out of Singapore, hence the stock clearance at the Luxasia sale.

Dear Laura,
I've never tried Acqua di Parma but sounds like you scored some really excellent steals!

Hi Feli,
Thanks! Luckily I live in Toa Payoh, otherwise I doubt I would have been able to make it!

Hi,

Usually I find out about the Luxasia sale in advance from friends or Cozycot forums where news of such sales is often shared in the cosmetics forum.
