Shiseido Spring 2011: Swatches

The Shiseido Spring 2011 makeup collection has just launched exclusively at Robinsons Raffles City. It will be rolled out to other counters in Singapore next Friday.

The collection is an eye-catching rainbow of vibrant shades. There are three new Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trios (S$51). Below is BR209 Voyage.

BL310 Punky Blues is a stunningly vibrant combination, and refreshingly different for a Japanese brand.

My favourite was naturally VI303 Bouquet.

The swatches below were done without any primer underneath.

Another highlight of the collection is the new line of Shimmering Rouge lipsticks (S$43) which give your lips a glossy semi-translucent finish. (Click to view the pics in full size.) RS308 Iron Maiden is the shade used on the model in the ad visual.

RD601 Golden Dragon is the most pigmented shade in the range and it is apparently selling very well.

There is also a new Perfect Refining Foundation which is supposed to provide a silky smooth, perfectly seamless coverage that lasts up to 15 hours. It also contains a moisturising Hydro-Producing Complex. (Apologies for the tonal difference between the two photos below, as it was quite tricky taking photos under the store lighting.)

The collection also includes a new Bronzer (in 3 shades) and Smoothing Lip Pencil (in 10 shades).

Thanks for doing the swatches and updating ur blog with new info so frequently. I really enjoy reading blogs with swatches coz the Canadian cosmetic scene is some what slower than the rest of the world. It's good to know what's available and getting my shopping list ready. :)

Keep up the wonderful work.
