Japan

My heart goes out to Japan and its people dealing with the destruction and chaos wreaked by the earthquake and tsunami. Having visited Sendai a few years ago, it's crushing to see how it has been affected. With the Japanese people's resilience, steely patience and community spirit, there is probably no other people better prepared to deal with and overcome such a disaster.

Hi, thank you so much for your kind post. My family lives in Japan, and all I feel is helplessness and guilt that I'm here in the US, instead of overthere, helping them. Your compassionate words were very touching. Thanks again.

hi Makiko,
Hope everyone in your family and your friends there are doing fine I'm sure you'll find a way to help although you're thousands of miles away. Hoping that life will return to normal soon for the people.

I learned about the earthquake in the morning last Saturday & everyone in our church was praying for the country and it's people during our morning service.
