Jill Stuart Mook

The Jill Stuart Spring/Summer '09 mook had sold out earlier at Kinokuniya but they must have brought in another shipment as I found 2 copies at the Ngee Ann City store this morning. It's priced at S$34 and comes with a fold-up umbrella with a slip case and a plastic red heart accessory. The umbrella came in handy as it started pouring but unfortunately, it looks like I got a bad one as one of its metal spines couldn't stretch out properly :-(

There's an 8-page section on Jill Stuart Beauty which gave a sneak peek of the summer makeup collection due out on 5 June and 5th anniversary collection that is due out in August. The summer collection will include Illuminance Eyes #7 (the shades look like silvery white, light pink, light brown and dark pewter) and Jelly Lip Gloss #15.

The model is wearing the summer collection makeup in this pic but this is not the ad visual for the collection. Looks like the summer collection will have a nude/bronze theme.

Jill Stuart will be releasing these limited edition items in August to commemorate its 5th annivesary. The pics have been deliberately blurred in the mook to keep the suspense but it looks like a 3 trio of nail polishes with a crystal box and a crystal studded pendant and ring that could contain a lipgloss or solid perfume.

Since its debut in 2004, the brand has grown to 46 counters in Japan alone, with a few in Hong Kong and Taiwan as well. Wonder when will it ever reach Singapore?

Ad visual for the wedding collection.

Look, it's the former Lavshuca model, Juliana!

The mook also includes an interview with the designer in her penthouse residence in West Soho, New York, plus layouts featuring the spring/summer collection, watches, bags, accessories etc.

Love the #20 bow necklace in the magazine! :) hey, if I'm going Japan in June, I will give you a beep! Want to thank you for helping out with cp in the past.

I was at Kino too but I guess the mook was sold out before I got there.

Just look at MJ. Released in Japan in 2005 but only launch in Spore last year end. At least MJ is a drugstore brand that most ppl can afford. I guess our retailers are afraid that Jill Stuart price may turn off customers.
