Anna Sui Spring 2010

Anna Sui will launch its Spring 2010 collection on 7 January in Japan. It includes:
1. Eye Color Accent (2625yen): Three limited edition Eye Color Accents each containing four shades in matte, pearly, metallic textures.

2. Lip Rouge D (2940yen): 5 glossy, high-shine shades that contain the highest amount of pearl ever in Anna Sui lipsticks.

3. Lip Rouge G (2940yen): 15 high-shine glossy shades formulated with "light glossy oil" and "base oil".

4. Lip Rouge V (2940yen): 7 fresh, intensely pigmented shades

5. Lip Rouge T (2940yen): 3 translucent, glossy shades made with "light purity oil"

6. Nail Color N (1680yen, 10ml: 5 new shades in #107 Sparkling Blue, #208 Aerial Purple, #317 Blooming Pink, #318 Passion Pink and #606 Sunny Orange.

Those lipsticks really look kinda creepy, lol. I guess I should stock up on the current Anna Sui lippies before they get discontinued...

Hi Sheila,

You're not the first one to comment that! I feel sorry for the product designer who came up with these. He/she was probably trying to go for a romantic gothic vibe but instead, when I first saw this, the first thing that came to my mind was the monster alien from Alien (the Sigourney Weaver movie)!

THe new eyeshadow palettes looks interesting but I find that AS shadows are usually not very pigmented.

Haha! When I first saw it (from your pictures by the way, as we don't have Anna Sui here), the first reaction was "What is this thing? Creepy cyber robots-transformers?!" lol

i have to say i love the new line of lipsticks they r putting out, but i really hate the packaging. its like trying too hard.

The lipsticks are kitch! IMHO the packaging designer doesn't understand the "essence" of the Anna Sui esthetic.
