Lush Taiwan Closure

Just read about the closure of Lush's 29 stores in Taiwan due to the bankruptcy of its local franchise-holder. Mob scenes actually broke out at the stores as the staff held 50% discounts to try to get cash as they had not been paid their salaries. At the same time, creditors tried to seize the remaining stocks. Wonder what it looked like with people fighting over bath bombs?

Read about it here. Lush UK has also issued a statement here.

My friends and I love LUSH so much and we always order from UK official website, was wondering how come they don't set up retail store in SG?

Lush had a store in Wisma Atria Isetan many years ago but they closed down, probably was too expensive for the Singapore market at that time.

Their stuffs can be pretty pricey. Singapore bought the brand in once years ago but pulled out later.
