Just re-did my nails with NARS Purple Rain nailpolish.
I'm guessing that the shade is inspired by the Prince song and Prince's penchant for wearing purple. It applies as a rich deep royal purple with a good amount of shine. Two coats was sufficient for a nice opacity.
I purchased this at Sephora in Honolulu back in March. Took me six months to get around to using it but I'm glad I finally did!

I have this also, and it's so freakin gorgeous! The only thing, I wish NARS made their nail polish wand better...so bulky!
I am jealous~ I have been wanting to get NARS polish ever since I saw some swatches on Scrangie's blog. Do you have any idea if I can get NARS polish in Singapore?
I saw a color like that yesterday fpr $4! I should've bought it if I knew it was a possible dupe for a NARS nail polish.

I don't think Nars nailpolish is sold anywhere in Singapore. There is an 18% discount promo code off narscosmetics.com going on now and some sprees are being organised for it, but I think nailpolish is not allowed to be shipped by air so if you want it, best to ask a friend to help you buy from Hong Kong or Taiwan.
