Looks like this is the season for several Kanebo brands to change spokesmodels. Aside from Lavshuca and Coffret D'Or, Kate has unveiled its new spokesmodel, actress/model/singer Meisa Kuroki (replacing Kimura Kaera) for the fall makeup collection, which includes a new Powderless Liquid Foundation, six Jewelry Mode Eyes palettes and Super Sharp Liner S (Spider). The Super Sharp Liner S (Spider) has a 0.03mm brush and comes in three shades: black, purple (LE) and red (LE).

She is absolutely gorgeous but now I just assume that Kate is a mommy brand (with Kimura Kaela and now her)...Not that there is anything wrong, it's just not as edgy as Kate back in the Nakashima Mika days...
I still like Nakashima the best as the face of Kate, as she give it an authentic rock edge. The new model looks very stiff in the ads.
I like the new visuals! I love that they look "grown up" as opposed to many other Japanese MU brands. I checked out the website and it seems like they've gotten rid of their old liquid foundation and replaced it with this new one, which I'm looking forward to trying!
i still much prefer Nakashima Mika fronting the campaign. -stella
