Popped down to Kinokuniya Ngee Ann City to pick up the new September issues of Steady (S$16.70) and InRed (S$20.20) magazines. Both were released for sale at 2pm. About 5 minutes before the 2pm, the staff asked the customers who wanted the two magazines to queue up at the Japanese books counter.
As a few ladies bought 7 to 10 copies of InRed, I believe it sold out very quickly. Kinokuniya's current 20% storewide sale for cardmembers (which lasts until this Sunday) probably also helped. Kinokuniya may be getting another shipment next week so do check with them if you are keen on getting it.
I wasn't actually planning on buying InRed but decided to get it when I saw that my favourite Japanese actress, Nakatani Miki, was on the cover. The magazine comes with a Loewe bag that is made of cotton and polyester. It measures 35cm across at the top and 21cm across at the bottom, with a height of 22cm and depth of 14cm. The interior is lined with black nylon and has a side pocket. The logo design is that of Loewe's new L eau de parfum.
To be honest, I don't think it's worth getting the magazine for the Loewe bag alone as the material makes the bag look somewhat old. The fabric also wrinkles easily, as you can see from the pic below. It's really not that special so please don't believe any blogs that try to hype this up as a must-have or 'hot' item. And before anyone asks, no, I am not interested in selling mine as I don't have the time.
Next week, Kinokuniya should be getting in the September issue of Sweet which comes with an Anna Sui mini tote (17x20x10cm) and drawstring pouch (20x15x7cm). The release date for Japan is Wednesday 11 August.
The October issue of Sweet will come with a Cher Shore tote bag measuring 31.5x41x13cm. It will be released on 11 September in Japan with Ayumi Hamasaki on the cover. The October issue of InRed will come with a two-piece Marc Jacobs Daisy pouch. This will be released on 7 September in Japan.
I'll post the pics of the Paul & Joe Sister bag in a separate post as this is already quite pic-heavy.

Almost ordered these 2 magazines on rakuten, together with the one with the Anna Sui GWP tote, but the latter ran out so I refrained - it's a good thing that your review killed my remaining lemming for the Loewe tote. Still waiting for your P&J pics, haha.
