Recently, I received this mini Lancome Color Design Eye Brightening All-in-one 5 Shadow & Liner Palette 207 Petal Pusher as part of a gift with purchase during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
The product image made it look bland online but I was pleasantly surprised upon opening it to discover richly shimmery hues of light pink, rosy pink, medium gold and rich chocolate, plus a matte taupe brown. While Petal Pusher is high on the shimmer factor, the shimmer is refined and not obvious chunks of messy glitter.
The mini version contains 2g, versus 4g for the normal version which usually retails at US$48. I've always liked the Color Design palettes for their slim, travel-friendly design, but the mini Petal Pusher is even niftier and makes the regular Color Design palette look clunky by comparison.
For this look, I applied the deep brown shade along the upper lashline and the outer corner of the lower lashline, the rosy pink in the middle of the lid and the light pink over the browbone area, inner corners and along the lower lashline.
The deep brown is amazingly pigmented, easily one of the best shades I've tried in the Color Design series. The light pink shade can look frosty if over-applied, so it's better used with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. It's lovely for highlighting the inner corners and lower lashline. With Too Faced Shadow Insurance as the base, there was no creasing or fading. There was a tiny bit of fallout during the application process, but no fallout afterward through the course of the day.
I paired Petal Pusher with Shiseido's new Lacquer Rouge RS404 Disco, which I'll review later. The Lacquer Rouge line has just debuted in Singapore. Do check out Makeup Stash for swatches of the 12 shades, which includes three Asia-exclusive shades.

I love anything shimmery! Those palette are so pretty! I wonder whether the will hit Singapore market. Do you have any idea?
A 2gm palette as a GWP is really pretty generous! And to make it even sweeter, the shades are nice! I'm eager to see how the new blush palettes will turn out :)
PS: you changed the captcha? Looks different and a little easier! :P
Hi memoiselle,
The Color Design palettes are available only in the US but you can order them quite easily through Nordstrom.com via VPost/Comgateway/Borderlinx.
Hey Kas,
I didn't change the captcha, perhaps Blogger tweaked it. There's no option for us to customise it.
