Dior Quints Collection

I decided to make up a collage of my current collection of Dior quints. As horribly expensive as these are, I do not regret purchasing any of them (except for Earth Tones) even though there are several similar purple shades across the palettes. The palettes are always incredibly well coordinated without being boring as you can usually create a multitude of looks with the five shades. The texture is simply heavenly, very finely milled and smooth with a lovely shimmer and zero fallout issues (unlike Jill Stuart and Lunasol). My current favourites are Pearl Glow, Coquette, Pink May, Petal Shine and Smokey Crystal.

I love it! Makes me want to re-take my picture (I have purchased more quints since then... haha?). I'm really interested in seeing the new Dior quints that aren't part of the Lace collection, the colours look fairly different from the quints I have, at least that I can remember!

hi Shilka,
Thanks for your comment!

Hey justine,
I would love to see your complete Dior quints collection! I was actually inspired by another member of Makeupalley who had this massive photo of over 20 Dior quints. The new Dior quints are already up on Sephora.com. I'll definitely be getting Extase Pinks when it's released over here.

Hi Catherine,
thanks!

Hi Claire,
Petal Shine is enormously popular on Makeupalley too and it's easy to see why. The colors are so sweet and feminine, and look good on virtually everyone.

Wow. Expensive collection! I know they are highly raved but I don't really like my Night Butterfly. It is not very shimmery. Or maybe it's my amateur skills. Have you done a EOTD with the palette before?

hi Rene,
Night Butterfly is not part of the Iridescent series so the eyeshadows are not as shimmery as thoes from the Iridescent quints but they still have a nice sheen. If you want more shimmery shadows, then the Iridescents (easy way to tell is by the palette numbers. All Iridescents end with the number '9') are the way to go. I haven't done an EOTD with it yet, will definitely post it if I do later!

And yes, Dior quints are horrendously expensive! I also wish they wouldn't keep raising the prices of these. Soon, we'll be paying S$100 or more for one at the current rate of price increases.
