KitKat Limited Edition Flavours

Found these four limited edition flavours of KitKat at the supermarket at Isetan Orchard yesterday! They are Healthy Vegetables (apple and carrot flavoured), Sports Drink, Royal Milk Tea and Kinako Ohagi. Kinako ohagi is a Japanese traditional confectionary made of sweet rice and azuki bean, covered with a soybean powder.

Also picked up the two winter-exclusive Melty Kiss flavours in Dark Rum and Fruity Strawberry, and a sakura tea. I especially like the tang of the Fruity Strawberry, which contrasts well with the chocolate.

hi,

The KitKats are S$3.10 each at Isetan supermarket.

Hi freshelle,
The sports drink Kitkat is supposed to be grapefruit flavour, which is the common flavour found in sports drinks in Japan.

Hi Hyuna,
You should check out this blog which reviews all the different limited edition flavours of KitKat in Japan!

Hi Ting,
I haven't tried any of the KitKats I bought yet except for the Kinako Ohagi which did not have as strong a soybean powder flavour as I had hoped for. It's still nice with a mild soybean aroma. You should check out Jen's KitKat blog for her reviews!

The sakura tea is actually green tea with sakura essence and leaves. It tastes basically like green tea but without the usual slightly bitter aftertaste of green tea. The sakura aroma is mild and pleasant.
