Urban Decay Launches in Singapore

Ever since Sephora opened in Singapore in December 2008, Urban Decay has been one of the most frequently requested brands for Sephora to bring in. Looks like all the pleas have paid off 'cos the long wait is finally over! Urban Decay will be launched at Sephora next Thursday 4 February. Sephora has brought in Urban Decay's International Makeup Artist Eric Jimenez to do demos & makeup consultations at the Ion store (Thursday 4 Feb 12- 3pm and 5-8pm; Friday 5 Feb 5-7pm) and the Ngee Ann City store (Friday 5 Feb 12- 3pm and Saturday 6 Feb 5-8pm).

You can also sign up for his Masterclass at Sephora Ion on either Friday 5 Feb at 7pm or Saturday 6 Feb at 1pm. The sign up fee is S$75, fully redeemable for Urban Decay products and there will be a sample goodie bag too. Check out the full details on Sephora's Facebook page!

As for the prices, I saw the Heavy Metal Glitter Liner listed as S$32 in a local magazine (sorry, couldn't remember the rest). That's not too bad, compared to the price in the US which is US$18 (about S$25) excluding sales tax. Aside from the perennial crowd favourite Primer Potion, I think most ladies are hoping to see the Box of Shadows (hopefully the Alice in Wonderland version).

I got the Box of Potions over the holiday season and have been trying out the various items in it. Will try to post reviews closer to the launch!

Like FINALLY!!!

I can replenish my Primer Potion. Been stinging on it to make it last.

Thanks for the good news!

Hi Maya,
You should cut open your Primer Potion to get out every last drop of it. Many ladies do that on MakeupAlley because a lot of product actually remains inside the bottle and the only way to get it all out is to slice it open and transfer to a small pot.

Hi Vonvon,
Yes, you definitely should come down for some shopping! I'm glad that Sephora is listening to its customers in Singapore on what they really want to see at Sephora besides TooFaced, Bare Minerals and Smashbox. I hope they will also bring in more niche brands like Tarte, Philosophy and Josie Maran some day.

i almost fainted from this news! finally finally finally!

btw i checked out a new brand at Sephora during the weekend... it's called Fred farrugia and apparently he was Lancome's ex creative director.

though the packaging was pretty awful i was surprised by how silky the blushers were. check it out if you like! :)

UD releases their products really slowly... I'm waiting for their Alice of Wonderland Book of Shadows to release here, but it won't be here until March. Most of the hype will probably have died off by then >___>
