Check out Yuki's Lazy Channel for excellent close-up pics, swatches and photos from the Jill Stuart Spring 2010 launch event in Taiwan!
I still can't make up my mind whether to get anything from this collection. On one hand, the new Mix Compact Blushes look pretty and different from the four that I already own but on the other hand, the new Jewel Crystal Eyes look like a rehash of previous releases. At the current exchange rate, the Jewel Crystal Eyes cost about S$80 each if purchased in Japan.

Thank you so much for posting this up!! I was looking so hard for the swatches, now I've got them, I can decide which palettes to buy.
I'm still looking at Crystal Ruby, but I'm not too sure about Eternal Platinum now. Pink Cameo looks pretty nice... lol
Which ones are you thinking of getting?
hi Sheila,
I'm considering #1 Crystal Ruby as I like the burgundy/pink combination but am worried that it may look bruised or like an eye infection!
Ah, so much makeup love in Taiwan. I wish we'd a preview like that here...better if it's Jill Stuart too. :D
Hey Iris! I LOVE that palette, I've had my eye on it since the promo pics came out. I'm particularly loving the burgundy (2nd from the right). It reminds me a lot of MAC Trax eyeshadow, which was the first eyeshadow I ever purchased =D
I was thinking about Eternal Platinum but the swatches make me think I have similar shades SOMEWHERE in my stash, but otherwise I don`t think my wishlist has changed at all. Both Mix Blushes look different from everything I own, and Crystal Ruby looks gorgeous... lately I have been lemming a burgundy and sparkly black shade!
So, really: still spending a lot of money. *sigh*
I love the look of Crystal Ruby too. My only concern is that it may be too sheer. That's true of many JS products, I find.
Thanks for sharing!!!!
I'm getting Princess Sapphire & Rose Fairy!
I always get my Jill Stuart stuff from Hong Kong because I realised that it's a fair bit cheaper. With the exchange rate, the eye palette costs me about s$67.
Also undecided about the new range!
Hi Haru,
have you gotten any Jill Stuart Spring items yet?
I've managed to get one of the Jewel Crystal eye palettes.
The shade I picked is Eternal Platinum.
I shall make a texture comparison between this, and Illuminance Eye's Jewel Dress.
Firstly, the new palette weighs 6g; illuminance weighs 4.1g, as indicated on their packagings.
Eternal Platinum:
The 1st and 2nd colour from left are very sheer, and glittery, but less powder fallouts (slightly only) compared to illuminance's.
The 3rd and 4th colours are more intensed, have more pigments. No glitter, just some subtle shimmers. The powders are lasting, no fallout. Illuminance powders are rather chunky and have the tendency to fallout upon application. All four colours are very glittery with sparkle.
Overall, I would prefer Jewel Crystal Eyes.
I don't know about Seductive and Brillance palettes cos' I don't own these.
Hey winterberry-gal,
Thanks for your review! I have asked a friend to help me buy them from Hong Kong but I will receive them only in late February. Will definitely post reviews when I get them :-) It took me a long time to decide which ones to get. I don't like glitter in my eyeshadows so it's good to hear that the Jewel Crystal Eyes don't have as much fall out problems as the Illuminance Eyes.
