Excel Gradation Cheek G6 and G7

Excel has released two new shades of its popular Gradation Cheek (1890yen), G6 Pure Pink and G7 Fresh Orange. G2 and G3 have also been discontinued.

Makes me wonder what has happened with Gransenbon which has not updated its website since June 2009. According to Makeupstash.com, the Gransenbon line of blushes are also being pulled out of the Watsons stores in Singapore.

These look lovely although I'm sad about Gransenbon's ambigious future... I have one of their lipsticks and a few of their blushes and I like the quality, but there is never new information products on the webpage, and I've had trouble finding information on OLD products on the webpage. I hope the brand survives though!

Hi Haru,

I wonder what is your current favourite compact foundation? I am using Guerlain's Parure Pearly White compact and with my oily skin, it cakes around the nose and looks quite horrible under hot weather...

I hope you can share with me some of your favourite compacts! Thank you so much!

Is Gransenbon still available at Watson's? Might grab a few if it's still there :)

hi lalala!

I think Gransenbon blushes may still be around in some of the larger Watsons. You can also order them online from BeautyCarousel.com if Watsons stops carrying them.

hi Amanda,
I was also disappointed with Guerlain's Prarure Pearly White powder foundation. The liquid foundation is much better though. For powder foundations, the best that I've found so far is Lancome Maquicake UV. It's long lasting and has a gorgeous dreamy smooth finish. You should check it out!

I'm currently using RMK Powder Foundation EX and Benefit Hello Flawless. I found that the RMK one looks good only if I moisturise with a serum first, like Shu Uemura's Whitensing Essence. Otherwise it goes on too powdery without a smooth seamless coverage. Hello Flawless is not bad too but the shade was a bit too yellow for my liking.
