LeSportSac Haul from Hawaii

The very first store that I chanced across in Hawaii was a LeSportsac store that was right on the grounds on the Hilton Hawaiian Village. As it turns out, LeSportSac makes quite a number of Hawaii/Guam-exclusive prints just like the Japan-exclusive prints. In Hawaii, many of the shops (not just LeSportSac) are manned by staff who can speak Japanese, to cater to the large number of Japanese tourists. Several shop staff assumed that I was Japanese and automatically spoke to me in Japanese.

The new Lilly Pulitzer collection was out but didn't really catch my eye.

Instead, I was captivated by the Hawaii-exclusive Mesmerize print of Oriental perfume bottles and flowers. I got the Reversible Tote and Melina pouchette (US$38) in this print, as well as the Medium Weekender (US$107) in the Tropical Floral print, which is also a Hawaii-exclusive.

Love the vibrant mix of colours on the Tropical Floral print!

Both the Reversible Tote and Medium Weekender come with matching zip pouches that you can squeeze the bags into. Very nifty for travelling! We also visited the LeSportsac outlet at Waikele Premium Outlets which had 30% off the normal retail prices but they didn't carry any prints that I liked. LeSportSac has several stores in Hawaii, including at the airport and the DFS Galleria in Honolulu.

Also snagged some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups at WalMart :-) These are available in Singapore but frightfully expensive.

I have serious serious lemmings for the Tropical Flora print - how gorgeous is that! And of course it is very Hawaii - a beautiful memento of your Hawaiian honeymoon!

For my own selfish reasons, I'm so glad you are back!

Thanks
BV

I love the Mesmerize print! If only I was going to be in Hawaii soon...

I had no idea that the purpose of the little zip pouch was to fold the tote into... I need to dig out my LSS bags and try that now!

Looking at these I *REALLY* miss the Tokidoki x LSS collaboration - the LSS bags were so much easier to clean!

hi CoreenJamie,
Sorry, I can't remember where I saw Reese being sold in Singapore.

hey justine,
It was a LSS sales associate who showed me a few years ago that the bags can be stuffed into the accompanying zip pouches. I'm trying to resist picking up more LSS bags in Tokyo at the moment ;-p

;) You know I'm not going to discourage you. HAHA. I forgot to comment about the Reese's - they are by far my favourite Candy and if I could make sure they wouldn't melt I would mail them to you XD;

Are these bags you bought all made in US or made in China like we used to have in Asian countries?

I think they are made in China (don't have them with me so I can't check).
