Accessorize Mermaid Nail Polish

Over the past week, I've been sporting Accessorize Nail Polish #39 Mermaid, which is a stunning shimmery turquoise that catches the light beautifully even when indoors.

The quality of Accessorize nail polishes is impressive, especially the duochromes and glittery shades. The polish applies very smoothly and two coats is sufficient to achieve a nice opacity.

These pics were taken after one week of wear and there is only some minimal tip wear. I used Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat over two coats of Mermaid. At just £4 for 10ml, it's a positive steal and well worth hunting down if you happen to be in the UK or have friends there who can help you purchase. (I purchased this at Superdrug in London.)

The only minor flaw is that the brush is not that broad, so it takes a few strokes to cover the nail.

Within my stash, the closest dupe is OPI's Catch Me In Your Net, which is slightly more blue-toned than Mermaid.

Below is the ingredients list. The nail polish is made in the UK.
