New Ted Baker tops from ASOS

Ordered two Ted Baker blouses from ASOS.com and they just landed in my mailbox. As usual, shopping at ASOS was a breeze with significant savings compared to purchasing at the Ted Baker stores in Singapore, plus there was free international shipping.

Ted Baker features these birdcage and dragonfly prints in several designs in the spring collection, from the swimwear to cardigans, maxi dresses etc. I picked the blouses since they are the easiest to coordinate with, and looked comfortable as well.

hi Iris
may I know if u have ordered makeup from ASOS.com before? Recently i ordered some Pixi and Illamasqua makeup from them since they are offering free int'l shipping. i finally received the makeup this week. But i'm really unhappy that they just throw everything in a plastic envelope and shipped the makeup all the way from UK to Singapore. They did not even bother to protect the items with any cushioning like bubble wrapping or packing peanuts! :( some of the items were dented although the insides were ok. I wrote them an email and got an auto generated reply from them that they will reply in 4 hours but its already more than 48 hours and i heard nothing from them!! :(

hi Xinhui,
I haven't ordered makeup from ASOS before, only clothes and accessories. They always ship the clothes in just plastic bags, but fortunately nothing has been damaged in the post so far. Perhaps try emailing them again?

I ordered 2 pieces of clothing and a lipstick. They came in a padded envelop with bubble wrap. Nothing is damaged. I like the envelope, can squeeze into my letter box.

What size do you usually order from ASOS? Some people say they may run alittle smaller ? Are the sizes pretty consistent?

hi,
For the Ted Baker tops, one is size 1 and another is size 2 (Ted Baker uses US sizes). For ASOS' own brand of clothing, I usually take size 8 or 10, depending on the cutting. If it looks like a tight cut, I will take size 10 to be on the safe side.

hi Mona,
Thanks!

hi Zhenling,
I placed my order on 21 April and it was shipped on 22 April. The two tops arrived separately, one on 5 May and another on 6 May. So you should give your order some more time to arrive.

hi, just to reply to the comment about ASOS sizing, I have found that it is pretty accurate to UK/Topshop sizing and may even run a bit big. I am usually a UK6 for dresses/tops and a UK8 for bottoms and all my items in those sizes bought at ASOS fit very well, mostly their house brand.
