Discovered the new Catrice SpectaculART collection for winter at my local supermarket here in Switzerland today!
Bombay meets Paris. Indian opulence coupled with French modernity. On the international catwalks, fashion designers are combining sari-like skirts, intricately decorated borders and embroidered coats with accurately cut shirts and simple blouses this winter season. The colors gold, silver, burgundy and pink dominate this look.
I love the various looks on the model, especially the intricate eye makeup.
On the right side of the display are the Lashes to Impress, Superfine Eyeliner Pen 01 Black Bindi, Highlighting Powder 01 Artfully Lustrous and Mousse Blush 01 Holi Hai.
Looks like Catrice took a leaf from Estee Lauder's book with these Pure Chrome eyeshadows which are made in Italy. These feel creamy and velvety to touch, like EL Pure Color Gelée Powder Eyeshadow. These have good color payoff and a lustrous metallic finish.
The pic below shows 02 Bombay Bauble (left) and 01 So Precious (right).
Swatches of the four shades.
Like Essence, Catrice is very fond of including highlighting powders in their seasonal collections. These are usually very well made, with a very finely milled texture. The amount of product is also generous at 11g.

Wow...So precious looks so...expensive. I wonder how long it would take before the first US brand make that kind of high tech knock-off.
