While browsing in Sephora, this pair of Moonshadow Baked Palettes caught my eye with their glittering colour selection.
Like the vast majority of baked eyeshadows, these are made in Italy. They retail at 30€ each in France (versus US$28 in the US), which is not bad considering that you get ten baked eyeshadows weighing 0.5g each. I'm not sure if these are available in Singapore.
In The Nude (with the bronze lid) features 10 sultry, nude shades which can be applied dry or wet for greater intensity. Most of the reviews for In The Nude on Sephora.com are positive.
These swatches were done dry without any primer underneath. I was impressed by how smoothly they swatched without feeling too dry, gritty or dusty. In particular, the shades in the top row have a lovely luminescence.
The pic above was taken under direct sunlight while the pic below was taken indoors.
In The Dark contains a good mix of mysterious smoky shades and pale highlighter shades, with a bright cobalt thrown in to jazz things up.
The bottom left shade is an intriguing black with purple micro-shimmer flecks. It'd be interesting to see how this shade applies wet.
