Sightings at Watsons

Wandering around the Watsons at Ngee Ann City earlier this week, the array of new brands and products now available was almost overwhelming.

Heroine Make's newly revamped liquid eyeliners boast a more intensely black finish and enhanced lasting power.

Dolly Wink's base makeup range of liquid and powder foundations, and primer.

L'Oreal has launched four Color Infallible eyeshadows (S$14.90) as part of its Color Riche Gold Collection. These appear to be brand new shades that I did not come across during my earlier trips to New York and London.

#22 Emerald Lamé

#21 Sahara Treasure and #23 Black Onyx

#27 Goldmine

Kate Wide Edge Eyes (S$27) are yet another collection of bland gradational eyeshadow palettes

Maybelline BB Pure Mineral Mousse (S$23.90) is a lightweight option to the heavier BB creams.

The airy mousse texture reminded me instantly of Shu Uemura's UV Under Base Mousse. Made in Japan, the Maybelline BB mousse dries down to a matte finish fairly quickly.

Bebe Poshe, a Taiwanese makeup brand started by four socialites.

Paperself lashes inspired by the Chinese art of paper-cutting.

Violent Lips stickers, which are frankly too bizarre for me!

Steam Cream is now also available at Watsons. With each purchase, you can enter the lucky draw to win a special Disney tin.

Also freshly arrived is Clio from South Korea, which seems to be quite affordably priced.

The BB Creams, which are de riguer for any self-respecting Korean makeup brand.

Bourjois Volume Fast & Perfect Mascara and two new Smoky Eyes trios. Nothing too exciting there but I'm looking forward to the release of their new Flower Perfection range, which looks very promising. You can see a video review on Simone Loves Makeup.

Canmake Candy Wrap Lip (S$18.90).

Hi Iris,

Welcome back :)

Great to know that L'oreal infallibles & CLIO are available :)

I like CLIO eye pencils (shimmerting) and the baked e/s. :)

Take care!

I covet those Infallibles, I really do. I either use an Infallible or an ETK every day so I think they've been a good purchase for me :D

The Disney steam cream tins look so cute! Are they not for sale normally?

Wow Paperself and Violent lips in Watsons! Both brands are selling in sephora US! Sephora sg has Paperself selling at $30. Do you know how much Watsons is selling Paperself for? :D

Not sure but it should be the same price as Sephora.

hi,
The Watsons at Ngee Ann City (level basement 2) is the largest and usually has the newest collections. Watsons has plenty of stores around the island but I like the one at Ngee Ann City the best.

That's Candy Doll, not Dolly Wink. Facial cosmetics are mostly Candy Doll, Dolly Wink consist of mainly eyes makeup.
