Skin79 Lovely Girl BB Cream

Skin79, renowned for its extensive range of BB creams, has just launched the Lovely Girl BB Cream ($21.90; 50g) exclusively at Watsons stores in Singapore.

Aimed at achieving baby soft skin, the Lovely Girl BB Cream has a light velvety texture and helps to provide natural-looking coverage for blemishes. It is recommended for oily/combination skin types as it contains porosity powder for combating oiliness, plus a herb complex and chlorella extracts for brightening the complexion. It also contains mulberry, marigold, and portulaca oleracea (purslane) extracts to help soothe and moisturise the skin.

I tried the Lovely Girl BB Cream last year, after obtaining deluxe samples of it in a My Beauty Diary mask sheet set. It worked well on me, blending in effortlessly and evening out my skintone without feeling heavy or greasy. You can see two looks that I did with it here and here.

Below is the ingredients list.

hi,
The coverage is at best medium, you would still need a separate concealer if you want to completely cover up severe blemishes or under-eye dark circles.

hi haru, compare to ettusais mineral bb cream vs skin 79 lovely girl, which one has more oil control and coverage? Suit more to combination skin?

hi,
In terms of coverage, I think the two BB creams are about the same and provide sheer to medium coverage. For very red blemishes, you will need a separate concealer. As for oil control, both required blotting after about 2-3 hours on my skin. I think both are suitable for combination skin. I recommend testing both side by side if you can, to see which shade is a better match for your skin tone.
