EOTD: Body Shop Shimmer Cubes #19 Look 2

Here's the second look that I did with the Body Shop Shimmer Cubes #19 and Stila Smudge Pot in Black.

With Testimo Bright Up Eye Base as the primer, I used the sponge applicator to apply the beige shade as a wash over the browbone area and the inner corners, the lilac shade from the upper lashline up to the crease and blended the midnight blue shade into the outer corners. I lined the upper lashline with Stila Smudge Pot in Black and the lower lashline with the lilac shade.

Aside from being well-pigmented, the Shimmer Cubes are also very long-lasting. The eyeshadows did not fade even after more than 9 hours of wear yesterday (whereas the MAC Pearlglide Liner did) and there was only very minimal creasing at the inner corners.

Very pretty, Iris dear! I like the cool toned shades and how they blend beautifully on the lovely creases of your eye. You have very nice eyes for eyeshadow play. ;)

I saw both of your EOTD with TBS Shimmer Cubes and they look so great on you! Very pretty!
Make me want to have one :D
I wonder is that Stila Smudge Pot good too? Is that long lasting or will smudge after few hours?

Hey Kathi,
This is my 3rd Shimmer Cubes and my favourite out of the three that I have so far, just cos all the shades are really pretty and fun to play with :-)

Hey Mag,
Thank you! The creases in my lids vary depending on how much sleep I've had that day! Sometimes when my eyes are very puffy, I have virtually no crease at all and then as the day goes by, they slowly 're-appear' again ;-p

hi,
the Stila Smudge Pots are great! Very smooth and easy to work with, with excellent colour payoff and lasting power is decent (it does start to fade a bit after 5 or 6 hours). They generally get very good reviews on MakeupAlley too.

hi SuPeachChaya,
If it's a combination that you can see yourself wearing very often, then I would say it's worth the $28. But if not, then you should save your money for something that you would use more frequently. The four shades are all well pigmented. You can check out the other EOTDs that I did with this Shimmer Cubes, think I did four in total.
