Picked up the new November issues of InRed and Steady at Kinokuniya (Ngee Ann City) earlier today. InRed (S$21) comes with a Lanvin en Bleu small zip pouch with a detachable aluminium chain.
The pouch is a rough textured cotton.
The zip opening is a tad small.
It's quite a unique accessory for a magazine freebie thanks to the long chain but not really a must-have unless you like the design.
The large HbG bag that comes with Steady (S$18.10) is a much better investment.
The material is polyester with a slight sheen.
The bag is well made and does not feel flimsy at all as it has a separate pink inner lining and the handles are double-layered. The inner seams are also reinforced and covered up, which is quite rare in magazine bags.
The bag is extremely roomy with a round base. It measures 25.5x38x24cm and can fit the magazine with plenty of room to spare.
Model Yano Mikiko
Thanks to all the attractive branded accessories, Steady's circulation has doubled over the past year from 200,000 for its December 2009 issue to 400,000 for the new November issue. This is still less than half of Sweet's circulation of over 1 million.
The December issue of Steady will come with a Agnes B. Voyage bag hanger and tote bag measuring 16x31x12cm. The bag straps measure 11cm and the bag can hold up to 6kg. This will be released on 6 November in Japan.
The December issue of InRed will come with this Lancel pouch.

is it just me or is the name 'caroline' printed above the HbG label? ^-^
hi,
The word is actually 'Carolina' :-)
Nice! :) The HBG bag seem so much better than the small purple bag from the previous month Steady collection. I was going to buy the steady mag for the HBG bag today but end up buying some charms from Kutusita and some stationery stuffs... ;p
The Lancel pouch is so cute!!!
Hello~
Are there a lot of copies of Steady at NAC? Thank you~~
hi,
I'm not sure as when I was there, they had the copies behind the counter and had not yet put out all the stock on the shelves. You can call the store to ask.
Thanks for your reply. My brother got it for me~ Now I'm wondering what will be the gifts for HbG mooks.. Looking forward to that too!
he he dang..thanks Haru
Can I know when the Dec issue Steady w free Agnes B bag release in Singapore?
hi,
The Kinokuniya stores in Singapore get their air shipments usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. My guess is that the December issue of Steady should arrive either on Friday 5 Nov or Wed 10 Nov, but you should check with Kino at the start of December for the actual shipment date.
gorgeous bag :)
drey jewelry.
Is the mesh material of the HbG bag good? Does it let stuff inside get wet if it rains?
Oops, sorry for the double post but wondering how water-resistant/water-proof the mesh material of the HbG bag is...
hi Agmini,
The HbG bag is not made of mesh material. The dots are just polka dots on the print. There are no holes in the material itself. I haven't tried it to see how waterproof it is but it should be able to withstand some light splashes of water.
