Ayura Christmas Coffret 2012

Ayura will release a Glossaming Dress Coffret (10,500yen) on 23 November in Japan. It includes a Spirit of Ayura Perfume (20ml) and Solid Perfume (5g), Aroma Mist (49ml), Ayura Cocktail Jewel 30g with accompanying brush and a pouch. The Cocktail Jewel is a Meteorites-like highlighter powder balls in pink, green and white. See more pics on Kuri's Beauty Report and Glam.

On 23 October, Ayura will release a Meditation Body Balm (3675yen, 46g) which bears the same scent as their popular Meditation Bath. There will be a limited edition Meditation Time set (5250yen) that includes the Body Balm, Meditation Eau de Parfum 15ml and Nail Essence 10ml with the same scent.

The Meteorites trend continues with Pola B.A. which has just released The Powder Pearl Illumination (15,750yen, 45g) with gold and white balls.

Biteki February 2011

Picked up the February issue of Biteki at Kinokuniya today as it comes with a 55-page spring makeup collections catalogue and a generous bounty of samples. The magazine retails for S$15.20 but I paid S$12.15 after the 20% members' discount. The issue also features the Best of 2010 awards, as voted by the readers.

The samples are two sachets of Fancl's new Beauty Concentrate, Air Platinum Drop Shampoo (5ml), Treatment (5g) and Emulsion (3g), Salon Deapres Shampoo and Treatment (Repairing & Fragrance Series) (10gx2), and Syoss Repair Intensive Care Shampoo and Conditioner (10ml x2). The preservative-free anti-aging Fancl Beauty Concentrate usually retails for 6000yen for 18ml (supposed to be one month's supply).

I like collecting these seasonal collections catalogues as they are a very useful reference with prices, shades and release dates all neatly listed. Elegance is not usually a brand that I pay attention to but their new Fabulous Rouge palettes look stunning. Each palette features three shades that can be mixed and layered as desired. But it would be hard to bring oneself to mess up that intricate pattern!

The two Phantom Eyes palettes feature a lace motif. The collection also includes Aurora Storm, which is a face highlighter.

The cover designs of these Ayura Blooming Sweet Colours and Blooming Fresh Colours palettes are so pretty! It's a pity that Ayura is no longer available in Singapore.

The Majolica Majorca spring collection introduces two new Cream Pencil Liners and a limited edition Lash Expander Frame Plus mascara in BR666 (red-toned chocolate brown).

Jill Stuart again goes for an avalanche of pinks. I really wish that they will change the model soon! Jill Stuart's earlier ads looked much more romantic and sensual.

And as always, Addiction stands apart from the rest of the Japanese brands in its choice of shades!

Ayura 15th Anniversary Memories Coffret

Ayura used to be available in Isetan in Singapore many years ago but it was probably too ahead of its time for the Singapore market at that time and withdrew after just a couple of years. Ayura will release a 15th Anniversary Memories Coffret (12,600yen) on 5 March in Japan (the second set in the pic below). It includes an extra large size of Meditation Bath α　(700ml), Aromatic Body Powder 30g, Meditation Oil 48ml and Meditation Body Serum 50ml.

On 23 February, Ayura will also release a f Sign Defence Trial Kit (4410yen) consisting of Mousse Flace b 50ml, Balancing Primer 30ml, Serum OP 7ml, Moist Protector 10g and a mini bag.

I'm totally lemming the Aromatic Body Powder which features Ayura's floral emblem embossed on the surface and comes in a pretty light green tub. Too bad it is not sold separately.

Ayura Night Meditation

Ayura will launch Night Meditation, a cologne designed for relaxation and facilitating a good night's sleep, on 23 October in Japan. The scent is a mix of aromatic herbs, violet, sandalwood and bamboo. There will also be a couple of limited edition sets.

Ayura's spring '08 collection will be launched in Japan on 23 January. This is the first time that I've seen Ayura products in such a classy black packaging, quite a departure from Ayura's usual soft pastel colour scheme.
