Ettusais Summer 2017

Ettusais will release this limited edition trio of tinted Lip Essence Colour (1200yen) with SPF18 PA+++ on 13 July in Japan. Pics by Maquia.

Ettusais BB Mineral Cushion

Ettusais will launch its first ever BB Mineral Cushion SPF 30 PA++ (2500yen, 2 shades) on 2 March in Japan. It is composed of 62% skincare ingredients with sebum-absorbing 'foggy powder' for a poreless, baby skin-like finish. Pic by Maquia.


There will also be a new limited edition CC Loose Mineral Compact (2000yen) in PK (baby pink) and BE (sheer beige). These are designed to help colour correct and provide an even-toned, natural finish.

Ettusais Spring 2017

Ettusais will launch its Spring 2017 collection on 12 January in Japan. It includes Cat Cheek Color (1600yen, 2.4g) and Creamy Crayon Lip (1200yen, 2.5g). There will also be a limited edition Sakura Face Color (1500yen, 5.5g), Premium Amino Micro Mousse (2800yen, 90g) and Barrier Essence (160ml for 50ml) to be launched in February.

Ettusais will release the following on 12 May in Japan:

1. Marshmallow Foundation SPF25 PA++: Available in Light Beige and Natural Beige with an airy matte finish. (1300yen, 25g)

2. Herbal UV Spray SPF50 PA++++ (1400yen, 70g)

3. Quick Care Coat: Fast drying nail nourishing coat with jojoba oil, rosehip oil and macadamia nut oil. (950yen, 9ml)

Ettusais will launch the following new products on 8 January in Japan:

1. Sakura Cheek Color (1600yen, 2 LE shades)


2. Natural Powder Brow Liner (1200yen, 2g): 3 LE shades of Pink Brown, Natural Brown and Olive Brown


On 18 February in Japan:

Ettusais Fall 2015

Ettusais will launch this Premium Amino Essence Foundation (3 shades, 30ml, 2300yen) and Premium CC Loose Powder (2300yen, 11g) on 10 September in Japan. The Premium line is targeted at ladies in their 30s. The liquid foundation is supposed to be a hydrating formula with good coverage while the loose powder is a baby pink skin-correcting shade.

Ettusais June and July Releases

Ettusais will release this Pore Care Clay (1000yen, 100g)and Oil Block Stick (1200yen, 4g, LE) on 18 June in Japan. The clay mask contains natural Italian clay, chamomile and rosemary extracts, and glycerin.

Also launching on 17 July in Japan is the limited edition Lip Essence (Clear Stick) SPF16 PA++ (1100yen, 2.2g) in PK Juicy Berry and OR Juicy Orange. The fragrance-free tinted stick balm contains honey, royal jelly extract, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, water soluble collagen.

Ettusais Summer 2015

Ettusais will release the following products on 21 May in Japan:

1. Aqua Foundation SPF20 PA++: Available in two shades, this is supposed to be very light textured with sebum-absorbing powders, organic rosemary and chamomile extracts, mineral-rich spa water and hyaluronic acid. Composed of 65% skincare ingredients. (1500yen, 30ml)


2. Vacances Nail Color: 6 LE shades (240yen)


3. Gel Color Coat: 1 limited edition shade and 2 new shades.PK4, RS2 and BE2 (cocoa cream). (950yen)

Shiseido Sale Haul

At today's media and VIP preview of the Shiseido private sale, there were extensive offerings from NARS, Ettusais, Cle de Peau, Benefiance, The Skincare, Ibuki, White Lucent and Maquillage. NARS had a wide selection of eyeshadow duos, Multiples, lipglosses, blushes, the Guy Bourdin collection (Holiday 2013), a couple of 6-eyeshadow palettes and blush palettes. NARS' black rubber packaging eventually disintegrates into a sticky disaster in Singapore's humid climate so their makeup was an easy pass for me.

Pretty much the entire NARS skincare range was on offer as well.

Several of Ettusais' product releases from 2013 up to Spring 2014 (the cream blushes and lipglosses).



Lots of foundation choices from Maquillage and Shiseido. Cle de Peau had their cream foundation ($75), silky cream foundation ($65), a watery liquid foundation in a pump bottle ($65), a compact cream foundation and a powder foundation. Their discontinued eyeshadow quads were going at $35 each while the Holiday 2013 Wintry Flower kit was $100.

Since I'm literally drowning in makeup, I purchased mostly skincare to gift to my mother, mother-in-law and aunt. The little one was just waiting to pounce on all the boxes.

The sale is open to the public on Thursday and Friday of this week. If you don't mind the crowds, it's definitely worth going in view of the extensive selection of products with long expiry dates. Happy shopping and see you later, alligator!
