Lunasol is teaming up with the Tokyo-based shoe brand Tsuru by Mariko Oikawa for its upcoming limited edition Base Makeup Kit launching on 1 September in Japan. The kit includes deluxe sample sizes of their Glowing Day Cream, Foaming Cream Wash N, Watery Clear Oil Cleansing, and a choice of any full-size foundation and base.
The yearly must-get for a Japanese OL (office lady) is the Lunasol Party Coffret, typically in varying safe shades of brown. This year's is no different. Launching on 10 November in Japan, the Party Coffret 2017 (6500yen) includes a Party Eyes 2017 EX01 Nuance Shiny Brown, Coloring Mascara EX02 Nuance Brown, Creamy Cheeks & Lips eX03 Red Rose and Skin Contrast Face Powder EX03 Fondant Pink (4.5g). Kuri Nakagome posted this stunning picture of the upcoming Lunasol Shine Fall Eyes EX01 and Full Glamour Lips EX09 which will be sold exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo and Umeda Hankyu in Osaka starting 11 August. It's bewildering when companies push such attractive palettes as ultra-exclusives that are a pain to hunt down (unless you're willing to pay for a personal shopper service) instead of making it easily available as part of their permanent range and creating a win-win for both the company and consumers. According to Biteki, Lunasol will release their Summer Kit 2016 on 3 June in Japan. It includes a Three Dimensional Eyes palette, pearl-infused eyeliner, beige pink Double Coloring Lips and a face powder, in a chic white pouch.
