More x Agnes B Voyage

Picked up the June issue of More magazine (S$19.30) today at Kinokuniya (Ngee Ann City). It comes with an agnes b. voyage makeup case measuring 15x22x6cm.

The case is made of polyester with a PVC coating and has a zip. It is supposed to have a red logo charm but the charm was missing from my copy. It's a minor irritant but not really that crucial for me as it doesn't look that special anyway.

There is an external pocket on one side. Inside, there are two mesh pockets on one side and another two non-mesh pockets on the opposite side.


The case is quite roomy and should be able to fit most of your beauty essentials for a trip.

To be honest, I find the case looks quite dull in comparison to my Cath Kidston and Jill Stuart mook cases. Nevertheless, it is quite well-made and doesn't feel flimsy. The inner seams are covered and the stitching is neat all around but there is no padding.

Steady x Agnes B.

Mag from Makeupstash.com was kind enough to help me pick up the March issue of Steady which landed at Kinokuniya yesterday afternoon.

Kino brought in huge quantities of this issue because of the included agnes b. canvas tote and pouch, which is expected to be highly sought-after. At only S$17.50, it is far more affordable than anything that one would find in an agnes b. store. Mag saw a lady grabbing 10 copies!

The tote is the same size and style as the black version that came with the October 2009 issue.

The red plastic heart charm is exactly the same as the October 2009 version.

The fabric is a dirty cream beige with a rougher and stiffer texture compared to the black version.

The magazine also includes a 16-page agnes b. "book" showcasing the latest collections and places to stay and eat in Paris.

Each page is framed with a polka dotted border :-)



Love this star/heart/moon studded bag and wallet.

Compared to the Agnes b. tote, the HamburGirl bag that will be included in the April issue of Steady looks more exciting! The print is from HbG's current collection but the shade and bag style have been specially designed for this collaboration item with Steady.

Measuring 17x28x11cm, it has three pockets across the front for slotting phone/MP3 players etc. This will be published in Japan on 6 March.
