Kate Holiday 2017

Kate will release this limited edition Dimensional Palette (2500yen) on 1 November in Japan. It includes an eyebrow powder (top right), eyebrow shading powder (bottom right), two eyeshadows and a blush. Pic by Voce.

Kate is celebrating its 20th anniversary with this limited edition Best Eyeshadow Selection palette (2500yen) comprising shades from their previous releases. Kate Spring 2017

Kate is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2017 with another renewal of its base and colour makeup lines. Kate has reigned as the number one brand in the self-help segment of Japanese drugstores for 14 years running. Kate also intends to strengthen its presence in overseas markets, namely the ASEAN countries, by developing products for these markets with the target of having overseas sales account for 40% of total revenue. The colour makeup line will be released on 1 February. It includes:

Kate will release its Fall/Winter 2015 collection on 1 August in Japan. It includes:

1. Trap Impact Eyes: For creating gradational effects along both the upper and lower eyelids to make the eyes look larger. In 5 variations. (1600yen)

3. Mineral Film Powder Foundation: Powder foundation that softly covers the skin in a light veil. In 3 shades (1500yen)

4. Mineral Film Powder Foundation Case (400yen)

5. Mineral Mask BB: BB cream that hydrates, provides coverage and acts as sunblock and primer. In 3 shades (1500yen)

Here's a sneak peek at Kate's Fall 2015 collection which will introduce this Trap Impact Eyes (1600yen) and Double Eyelid Remake liner (1000yen). The Trap Impact Eyes help to create a gradational effect along the lower eyelids. Due out on 1 August in Japan. Pics tweeted by Osadanna.

Kate Spring 2015

Kate will launch its Spring 2015 makeup collection on 1 February in Japan. Flush from the success of its Brown Shade Eyes series which sold 1 million units in just 4 months, Kate is introducing a new line of Monochrome Shine palettes in five variations (1600yen), designed specifically to complement black eyes (as well as to ride on the trend of iris-enhancing circle lens).


Now, which panda is cuter?

Kate also seems to be taking a cue from the Korean-style brow trend in promoting this thicker arch-less brow style (shown on the mannequin on the right in pic below), which can be created with its Lasting Design Brow W (2 shades).


There will also be a new Snow Skin CC Base SPF35 PA++ (1200yen) and Color Wrapping Rouge (10 shades, 1400yen). The Snow Skin CC base helps to conceal pores, skin redness and yellowness, to create a translucent, pink-nuanced tone.

Kate Fall 2014

Kate will release its Fall 2014 collection on 1 August in Japan. The star product is the new line of Brown Shade Eyes palettes (1600yen) in 6 variations. Each palette contains a 'nose shadow' shade for contouring.
