Here are the details of the Shiseido fall 2013 collection which will be released on 1 August in Japan.
1. Sheer & Perfect Foundation: Contains "reflect and fit powder" for a translucent skin-like finish and light texture while covering skin imperfections. In six shades - Ochre 00/10/20/30, Pink Ochre 10 and Beige Ochre 20. (4200yen, 30ml)
2. Natural Finish Cream Concealer: In five shades. (3150yen, 10g)
3. Eyebrow Styling Compact (3675yen, 4g)
4. Lacquer Rouge: 4 new shades (3675yen, 6ml)
5. Luminising Satin Eye Color Trio: 3 new palettes (4200yen, 3g)

Thanks to Elaine, I was able to pick up the new Lunasol Vivid Clear Eyes EX02 Colorful Collection palette from the new summer collection. Lunasol usually releases two limited edition eyeshadow palettes in its summer collections.
The rather oddly-named Colorful Collection appealed to me with its mix of shimmery greens and blues. This retails at S$77 in Singapore, versus 5250yen (about S$69) in Japan. It is also available on Adambeauty.com for US$60.50.
This palette is heavy on the shimmer, especially the green and medium blue shades which contain silver sparkly particles that are prone to some fallout over the course of the day. Most of the shades apply sheer on the first swipe but can be layered easily for greater intensity.
The blackened midnight blue shade is the most intensely pigmented of the five shades. The only disappointing shade in the palette was the pink which basically washed out and disappeared on my skin. The letters on the eyeshadows rub off with the first swipe.
These swatches were applied on bare skin with the included sponge applicators. The sponge/brush applicators included in Lunasol palettes are good quality and can withstand several washes without breaking apart.
When applied over Too Faced Shadow Insurance as the base, the eyeshadows last well over eight hours with no visible creasing. However, the green and medium blue shades did lose a bit of their vibrancy as the hours passed.
Lunasol has a habit of releasing brown and blue/green palettes for summer. In the pic below, the top row (from left) shows Skin Modelling Eyes EX02 Beige Cool (2007) and Sheer Contrast Eyes EX01 Blue Green Coral (2008). The bottom row shows Nature Color Eyes EX01 Nature Summer Blue (2010), Ocean Scene Eyes EX02 Vacation Ocean (2011) and Colorful Collection (2013). Colorful Collection is my favourite out of the five for now, as its mix of shades is more diverse while remaining very easy to wear.
At Manor yesterday, I found the new Essence Me & My Ice Cream collection in charming pastel tones. See the collection details here. Scream: ice cream! Soft sorbet shades like beige, vanilla, apricot, pink, lavender and mint as well as awesome products in a cool retro look will melt your heart. look forward to eyeshadows in soft nuances with a marbled texture, three lip balms with a color twirl, a creamy blush, shimmer pearls with perfectly aligned shades and nail polishes in gorgeous pastel tones.
I couldn't resist hauling pretty much all of the collection except for the nail polishes and lip balms. The Shimmer Pearls 01 I-CY U (CHF5.25, 14g) are a melange of pastel lavender, mint, yellow and peachy pink balls. These are made in Taiwan.
The shimmer is very refined and subtle, similar to Guerlain Meteorites so it won't look like obvious glitter bits on the face.
The baked Eye Shadows in 01 Cone Head, 02 Icylicious and 03 Always in My Mint (CHF4.50) are made in Italy.
The Hand Wipes (CHF2.25, 15 pieces) have a strawberry ice cream fragrance that is very artificially sweet, reminding me of Strawberry Shortcake for some reason.
The Nail Topping Sticker 01 Rainbow Sprinkles (CHF3.50) contains 16 stickers, quite an odd number but perhaps some of the stickers can be split into two if your nails are relatively short. Cream blush 01 Ice Bomb (CHF4.50)
I also came across the Ticket To Paradise collection that was pretty much wiped out. The three shimmery cream eyeshadows in this looked promising but there was no stock left aside from the much abused testers. See the collection details here and some swatches on Parokeets.
Below is the Guerilla Gardening collection released earlier in May. I snapped these some weeks ago but never got around to posting it. It includes cream blushes, eyeshadows, lipglosses, nail polishes, a tiny fan brush for nails and nail effect powder for creating a velvet finish. See the collection details here.
Came across three Catrice collections yesterday in various stores here in Switzerland. Matchpoint is the sport-themed summer collection for June-July that includes some baked eyeshadows, lip balm tints (similar to Clinique Chubby Sticks) and blush sticks.
I would have liked to get the Blush Sticks in C01 ChamPINKon and C02 Rockby but unfortunately all the pieces left had been tested. See the collection details and video here. Candy Shock is the pastel themed collection for April-May inspired by ballerina couture with lots of baked eyeshadows, blushes and a multi-color highlighter. This is the collection currently available at Guardian Pharmacy stores in Singapore that carry Catrice. See the collection details and video here. Hip Trip is the music festival-themed collection for May-June. Aside from the usual oversized bronzer, nail polishes, eyeshadow palette and lipsticks, it also includes a pink passport cover. However, this felt quite cheaply made without any unique design details.

I found all three collections to be underwhelming. They had interesting ad visuals but in terms of the products, there wasn't anything that really stood out. The Glamazona collection for Jun-Jul looks interesting but I haven't seen it anywhere. The stores here do not always stock every collection, so it's always pretty random in terms of what I am able to find.
Ettusais will release a new Sebum Off version of its Peeling Milk (1260yen) on 18 July in Japan. It contains charcoal powder for absorbing dirt. I've tried the original Peeling Milk previously and didn't find it to be that effective though.

Armani will launch a new Maestro Compact Foundation on 3 September in Japan. The cream foundation is designed to be applied with the accompanying fan-shaped brush for a luminous matte finish with good coverage. Pic below by Maquia.
