Chanel Fall 2014

Here's a sneak peek from Eclat of the Chanel Fall 2014 makeup collection due out on 22 August in Japan. It includes six new Ombre Essentielle shades, a limited edition Les 4 Ombres quad, four Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks, two Lèvres Scintillantes glosses, new liquid eyeliners and three nail polishes in Secret, Orage and Atmosphere.

Kate Moss Idol Eyes Collection for Rimmel

The Kate Moss Idol Eyes collection for Rimmel has just landed on ASOS.com. It features a gorgeous emerald green gel eyeliner, four eyeshadow crayons, four mascaras and five new shades of my favourite Lasting Finish by Kate lipsticks. See swatches on Really Ree and here. The lipstick shades released in the UK are 28, 30, 31, 32 and 33. 29, a deep magenta, is listed on the Rimmel France website so hopefully it will be available in Monoprix.

Anna Sui Lipstick V and M for Fall 2014

Abe Sawako tweeted this pic of the Anna Sui Lip Stick V and M which will be released on 1 August in Japan. Lipstick M features a marble swirl of colors. The intricately carved cases are supposed to be a star-inspired design but they keep reminding me of pineapples somehow! See another pic of the case and box here.

Visee Duo Rich Eyes

Visee will expand its eyeshadow palette offerings on 16 June with Duo Rich Eyes in 7 variations (1000yen, 2.5g). These contain a beauty essence to guard against skin dryness. The shades are OR1 (orange brown), PK2 (pink brown), BR3 (gold brown), GR4 (khaki), GY5 (grey), BE6 (beige) and BL7 (navy x silver).

Guerlain Meteorites Aquarella on FeelUnique

If you are a collector of these ethereal powder balls, don't wait too long to snap these up. My local counters in Geneva had never even heard of it so I'm not sure how widely distributed it will be. I placed my order within ten minutes of receiving the email from FeelUnique yesterday and it has already shipped today.

RMK Aoyama 5th Anniversary Palette 2014

RMK released this Aoyama 5th Anniversary Palette 2014 exclusively at their flagship boutique in Aoyama, Tokyo on 26 March. Retailing at 5500yen, it is composed of eye and cheek shades from the new line-up introduced in May. See swatches here.

RMK will release this Refreshing Gel (5000yen, 60g) on 4 July in Japan. It contains bilberry and Eijitsu rose extracts and has a fresh yogurt aroma.

Suqqu MUA Tomoko has recommended RMK's new Eyeshadow brush E (2600yen) as a replacement for Suqqu's discontinued and much beloved Eyeshadow S brush. Can't wait for it to launch on Selfridges.com!

Guerlain Meteorites Aquarella

Guerlain has just released a limited edition Meteorites Aquarella (7700yen, 25g) on 1 May in Japan. The mix of gold, silver, pearl white, champagne, delicate pastel pink and lagoon green powder balls help to brighten up the complexion with a pure aura. According to Makeup Box, only 12 units were available in Singapore so this could be a tricky one to track down for Meteorites collectors. See swatches here.

Coffret D'Or Summer 2014

Coffret D'Or will release its summer 2014 collection on 16 June in Japan. It includes:

1. Full Smile Eyes: In 4 variations. Each palette contains a multi-highlight base which can be used to highlight the inner corners or as an eyeshadow base. Check out real-life pics of 01 Apricot Beige, 03 Bronze Brown and 02 Natural Pink and 04 Clear Purple on Japanese auction sites. (3200yen)

2. Lip Make Liner: In 2 shades (2400yen)

3. Elegant Jewelry Rouge EX100: brightening fresh pearl pink (2300yen)

Majolica Majorca Summer 2014

Here are pics of the two limited edition Majolica Majorca Jewelling Eyes palettes to be released on 21 July in Japan. #80 is a pop girly combination while #90 is a warm gold variation.

On 21 May, Majolica Majorca will release this Lash Expander Edge Meister F BR666 (red-toned brown), Water Cologne Nails and Glass Drop Gel Coat Nude Pink.


Another limited edition offering is this pink gold Perfect Automatic Liner #36 due out on 21 June.

Jill Stuart Nail Art Liner and Nail Lacquer R

Jill Stuart will debut its Nail Art Liner (1500yen, 4 shades) and seven new Nail Lacquer R (of which two are limited edition) on 6 June in Japan. The Nail Art Liner shades are 01 Sparkling Silver, 02 Champagne Gold, 03 Sunshine Gold and 04 Gem Glimmer.

Suqqu MUA Tomoko has posted a swatch of the upcoming Blend Color Eyeshadow EX20 Natsubotan palette and Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist EX14 Sumimorio. Both are limited edition and launching on 22 May in the UK. If you don't want to miss out, just know that Selfridges.com has a habit of releasing Suqqu collections slightly earlier.

Shu Uemura Drawing Pencil

Shu Uemura will launch a new line of Drawing Pencils (2400yen) in 21 shades with four textures including two glitter shades, five metallic/pearl shades, four brown-toned shading hues and a matte white. These are formulated with two types of polymers to give a long-lasting, waterproof finish. Due out on 19 June in Japan.

Jill Stuart May and June Releases

Jill Stuart will release the following limited edition products on 6 June in Japan:

1. Relax Fragrance Body Mist L (200ml, 3000yen)

2. Relax Fragrance Hand Essence L (30g, 1200yen)

3. Relax Lip Essence UV L SPF18 (10g, 1500yen)

All three are formulated with lychee, acerola and hibiscus extracts with an tropical aroma mix of lychee, guava, rose and jasmine, amber and musk notes.


On 16 May, Jill Stuart will release these two makeup pouches in Eternal Vacation and Brilliant Time, both retailing at 3800yen.

Givenchy Fall 2014

Here's an early sneak peek from Maquia at Givenchy's Fall 2014 collection which will be launched on 8 August in Japan.


New mascara Couture Volume and Liner Couture, a felt pen-type liner. To be released on 4 July.

New Prisme Libre powders in 4 variations. The black compact in the bottom right corner of the pic is the Prisme Libre Premiere which suits all skin tones and provides a semi-matte finish. Due out on 5 September.

Anna Sui Summer 2014

Anna Sui will release this limited edition Body Powder Puff (3500yen) along with the re-designed Rose Cheek Color N (3500yen, 6g) in 6 shades with a new case design. The powder puff is filled with gold pearl and pink pearl powders.

Lavshuca Lady Focus Rouge

Lavshuca will introduce a new Lady Focus Rouge in 8 shades on 1 May in Japan. Priced at 1200yen, it contains silk and sweet almond oil for hydrating benefits and provides a soft matte finish.
