InRed x Paul & Joe

The March issue of InRed (S$20.80) just arrived at Kinokuniya today. The magazine comes with a Paul & Joe multi-case featuring a pink floral paisley print from the spring makeup collection (which will be released in Singapore around 28 February).

The case is made of polyester with a slightly reflective coating that is resistant against water and stains. It measures 12.5x20x1cm with a detachable strap.

Although I find the beige piping looks rather dull, on the whole, the case feels very well-made with ample pockets to fit a variety of stuff like a passport, coins etc.

The Kinokuniya store at Ngee Ann City had plenty of stocks of this magazine so it should still be readily available tomorrow.

Upcoming Japanese Magazines Freebies

The March issue of InRed will come with a Paul & Joe multi-case measuring 12.5x20x1.5cm in a gorgeous paisley print from the spring makeup collection. It's been a long time since a Japanese magazine collaborated with Paul & Joe so I'm incredibly excited to see this one. This will be released on 7 February in Japan. Also, there will finally be a new Paul & Joe mook ("magazine book") coming out on 25 February in Japan. Preliminary info is that it will include a nautical print tote bag and pouch.

The March issue of Sweet includes a Kitson gingham print tote bag and pouch. This will be released on 12 February in Japan.

InRed & Steady November 2010

Picked up the new November issues of InRed and Steady at Kinokuniya (Ngee Ann City) earlier today. InRed (S$21) comes with a Lanvin en Bleu small zip pouch with a detachable aluminium chain.

The pouch is a rough textured cotton.

The zip opening is a tad small.

It's quite a unique accessory for a magazine freebie thanks to the long chain but not really a must-have unless you like the design.

The large HbG bag that comes with Steady (S$18.10) is a much better investment.

The material is polyester with a slight sheen.

The bag is well made and does not feel flimsy at all as it has a separate pink inner lining and the handles are double-layered. The inner seams are also reinforced and covered up, which is quite rare in magazine bags.

The bag is extremely roomy with a round base. It measures 25.5x38x24cm and can fit the magazine with plenty of room to spare.

Model Yano Mikiko

Thanks to all the attractive branded accessories, Steady's circulation has doubled over the past year from 200,000 for its December 2009 issue to 400,000 for the new November issue. This is still less than half of Sweet's circulation of over 1 million.

The December issue of Steady will come with a Agnes B. Voyage bag hanger and tote bag measuring 16x31x12cm. The bag straps measure 11cm and the bag can hold up to 6kg. This will be released on 6 November in Japan.

The December issue of InRed will come with this Lancel pouch.
