Les Merveilleuses by Laduree Holiday 2016

Anna Sui New Base Makeup

Jill Stuart Fall 2016 Lady Mauve

Jill Stuart is releasing a second collection for Fall 2016 with the theme "Lady Mauve", featuring new permanent shade additions to several of their product lines. This launches on 2 September in Japan, together with the new base makeup collection featuring the Loose In Liquid Foundation and Natural Pure Oil. Jill Stuart Fall 2016 and Launch in Thailand

Jill Stuart has finally opened its first counter in Southeast Asia at Paragon Department Store in Bangkok on 17 June 2016. The prices seem comparable to Japan. For example, the eyeshadow palettes are 1700 baht (about 5100yen), versus 5400yen (inclusive of 8% sales tax) in Japan. The Jill Stuart Thailand website is here.

Addiction International Expansion

Currently in its 7th year, Addiction has finally taken its first steps towards becoming a global makeup brand with its launch in Shinsegae Duty Free in South Korea in May. It will next launch in Hong Kong this autumn. Hopefully Addiction's international expansion will go more successfully than that of fellow Kose-owned brand Jill Stuart, which grounded to a halt after the trifecta of South Korea/Hong Kong/Taiwan, supposedly because of its lack of success in the fiercely competitive South Korean market.

Addiction's upcoming Oil Cleansing (3500yen) will be released on 2 September in Japan. Formulated with seven botanical oils including organic jojoba seed oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, camellia oil, olive squalene, sage oil and meadowfoam oil.

Visee Avant Brand Debut

Visee will launch a new sub-brand Avant (which means 'before' in French) on 21 August in Japan fronted by model Lola. Targeted at fashion-conscious consumers in their 20s, the brand offers a wide range of shades that can be customised according to one's desire. It includes:

1. Oil In Lip Tint: 4 shades (1300yen)

2. Eyeshadow: 20 shades (800yen)

3. Nail Collection: 20 shades (500yen)

4. Eyeshadow Brush
