Cle de Peau Holiday 2017

Here are the official visuals for the Cle de Peau Collection Nuit de Chine. In terms of packaging, I think this is the most elegant collection that I've seen from Cle de Peau in years.

Here's a sneak peek at the Cle de Peau Holiday 2017 Collection Nuit de Chine launching on 21 October in Japan. The collection features Chinoiserie-inspired artwork by Kathe Fraga. Pics by Voce.

Coffret de Couleur (15000yen): Includes eyeshadows, lipstick, mascara and blush.


Coffret Eclat Essentiel (12000yen): Includes facial foam wash, toner, day essence, night essence and cotton pads


Crayon Pour Les Jours (8000yen): Eye crayons in silver, turquoise, violet, purple brown and pink beige.


Vernis Ongles Trio (6000yen): Nail polishes in ivy grey, gold glitter and noel red.

Cle de Peau Spring 2017 and Teint Stick Eclat

The Cle de PeauSpring 2017 collection Serene Beauty will be released on 21 January in Japan. It includes:

1. Ombre Couleur Duo: 6 duos (4500yen)

2. Blush Creme: 4 shades (4500yen, 6g)

3. Rouge Eclat C: 3 shades (3500yen)

4. Vernis Ongles (4 LE shades, 2000yen)






This will be followed by a new Teint Stick Eclat foundation (8640yen, 9g, 4 shades) on 21 March. It utilises a 'water C technology' through which micro water particles are finely balanced with oil particles that meld upon contact with skin. The foundation glides on with a soft refreshing feel.

Cle de Peau will launch its Holiday 2016 collection featuring artwork by Ashley Longshore on 21 November in Japan.

Cle de Peau Fall and Holiday 2015

Cle de Peau will launch its Voyage à Venice collection for Fall 2015 on 21 August in Japan. It includes three Ombre Couleur Quadri n palettes (5000yen), Rouge Eclat C (3500yen, 10 shades) and Blush Duo Poudre (4500yen, 5 variations).


The Holiday 2015 collection will be released on 21 November. It includes a Coffret de Couleur (15000yen), a trio of nail polishes (6000yen for the set) and a body powder (10000yen) inspired by Venetian masquerade balls. The coffret includes an eyeshadow quad, lipstick and mascara. The packaging is designed by jewellery designer Joji Kojima. There will also be a limited edition version of La Serum (25000yen).

Shiseido Sale Haul

At today's media and VIP preview of the Shiseido private sale, there were extensive offerings from NARS, Ettusais, Cle de Peau, Benefiance, The Skincare, Ibuki, White Lucent and Maquillage. NARS had a wide selection of eyeshadow duos, Multiples, lipglosses, blushes, the Guy Bourdin collection (Holiday 2013), a couple of 6-eyeshadow palettes and blush palettes. NARS' black rubber packaging eventually disintegrates into a sticky disaster in Singapore's humid climate so their makeup was an easy pass for me.

Pretty much the entire NARS skincare range was on offer as well.

Lots of foundation choices from Maquillage and Shiseido. Cle de Peau had their cream foundation ($75), silky cream foundation ($65), a watery liquid foundation in a pump bottle ($65), a compact cream foundation and a powder foundation. Their discontinued eyeshadow quads were going at $35 each while the Holiday 2013 Wintry Flower kit was $100.

Since I'm literally drowning in makeup, I purchased mostly skincare to gift to my mother, mother-in-law and aunt. The little one was just waiting to pounce on all the boxes.

The sale is open to the public on Thursday and Friday of this week. If you don't mind the crowds, it's definitely worth going in view of the extensive selection of products with long expiry dates. Happy shopping and see you later, alligator!

Cle de Peau Teint Poudre Eclat

Clé de Peau will launch a new powder foundation, Teint Poudre Eclat SPF22 PA++ (9000yen, 11g), on 21 March in Japan. Available in 8 shades, it is supposed to provide longlasting wear without making the skin feel dry. The foundation brush will retail at 2000yen.

Cle de Peau Spring 2015

Cle de Peau's Spring 2015 makeup collection is a tiny one, comprising two Ombre Couleur Quadri n quads 309 Fairy Dust and 310 Moon Beam (5000yen for refill, 2500yen for case) and three Rouge à Lèvres #112 Satin, #211 Silk and #313 Velvet (4000yen for refill, 2000yen for holder). Due out on 21 January in Japan.
