Previously, I used to faithfully snap up all the Paul & Joe seasonal collections but over the past year, this love affair has turned tepid as it seems like they are mostly recycling their products with different (albeit still fabulously cute) packaging and working the kitten theme to death. I still find their quirky aesthetic and prints to be a refreshing change from the sea of MAC-clones out there but they should work on improving their product quality and innovation as well. The holiday advent calendar could have been a real game-changer if they could have been bothered to actually put 24 decent products in it, instead of the measly six.

Suqqu New Year Skincare Kit and UK-exclusive Collection

Suqqu will release another limited edition version of its Musculate Massage & Mask Cream as part of a skincare kit retailing for 12000yen on 1 January in Japan. The 紅白茶香 kit is a blend of white and red tea with a sandalwood heart and contains a full size (200g) Musculate Massage & Mask Cream, Face Refresher R 50ml, Reset Cleansing Emulsion 30ml, Enrich Foaming Wash 30g, Moisture Rich Mask 30g and Face Stretch Mask (1 sheet). Ettusais Spring 2017

Ettusais will launch its Spring 2017 collection on 12 January in Japan. It includes Cat Cheek Color (1600yen, 2.4g) and Creamy Crayon Lip (1200yen, 2.5g). There will also be a limited edition Sakura Face Color (1500yen, 5.5g), Premium Amino Micro Mousse (2800yen, 90g) and Barrier Essence (160ml for 50ml) to be launched in February.

Les Merveilleuses by Laduree Spring 2017

Les Merveilleuses by Laduree is revamping its pressed powder blushes for Spring 2017. The new Pressed Cheek Color N will retail for 5300yen with 20 shades available starting 20 January in Japan.







There will also be a limited edition Face Color Rose Laduree #101 (10,000yen) also out on 20 January, followed by the Limited Edition Rouge (3500yen, 3 shades) on 3 March.

Shu Uemura will launch its Spring 2017 collection on 1 January in Japan and Singapore.

It includes three limited edition Play Date Eye & Cheek Palettes (6800yen/S$98) and Drawing Pencils (2400yen).

Three Spring 2017

Three will release its Spring 2017 collection, Every Color You Are, on 1 January in Japan. It features the revamped Shimmering Color Veil Statement (15 shades, 3500yen), Eye Dimensional Quad Palette (3 variations, 6000yen), Shimmering Lip Jam (4 shades), Cheeky Chic Blush (2 shades) and Nail Polish (7 shades).

RMK Spring 2017

RMK celebrates its 20th anniversary next year with the Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Color Change, debuting on 6 January in Japan. The collection includes:

Addiction Spring 2016

Addiction takes its Spring 2017 inspiration from Swedish abstract artist Hilma af Klint. The Flower Evolution collection launches on 6 January in Japan. It looks like a massive one with 10 limited edition eyeshadow singles (2000yen) including a number of mosaic shades that are a blend of three tones. There will also be a limited edition compact as a gift with 9600yen purchase from their online store.
