Suqqu Summer 2013 Links

The new Suqqu Bright Up lipsticks are now available on Selfridges.com but the limited edition Blend Color Eyeshadow EX14 Ruridama has sold out (it was on the site yesterday). Although Ruridama looks more attractive than the three palettes from the spring collection, I decided to skip it eventually as the three pale shades will probably wash out on my skin. Les Merveilleuses by Laduree Fall 2013

Here's a sneak peek at the Les Merveilleuses by Laduree fall collection coming up on 26 July in Japan. Aside from the pressed cheek colors and eye palettes, there will also be a new line of matte rouge in 7 shades. Pic tweeted by Maquia. See more pics on Iida Kyoko.

On 6 September, Laduree will release a cream cheek base and limited edition Shimmering Pressed Face Powder in champagne pink and white blue with a fan motif (6300yen). The collection theme is 'costume ball'.

Maquillage Summer and Holiday 2013

Maquillage will release three new True Eyeshadow palettes and four new shades of True Rouge for summer on 21 July in Japan. True Rouge has racked up sales of over 2 million units in just ten months since its launch.

Maquillage is also starting pre-orders of its holiday coffret, Aura Brilliance Collection which will be released on 21 November. It includes a Face Powder Compact, Essence Glamorous Rouge #10 Lucent Pink and Jelly Fragrance with a floral fruity aroma.

Integrate Summer 2013

Integrate will release its summer collection on 21 June in Japan.

It includes:

1. Mineral Beads Foundation: Limited edition mineral beads foundation/highlighter, available in 2 shades. Each comprises three tones: white for skincare benefits to prevent dryness, gold for covering pores and glowiness and beige for concealing skin discolorations. Free of parabens, oil, fragrance and suitable for all seasons. SPF13 PA+. When this was launched exclusively through Shiseido's Watashi+ online store on 21 March, one of the shades sold out within one day. (22g)


2. Lash Exte Long Curl: Film-type lengthening mascara in limited edition shade BR600 Sweet Brown with subtle pink pearl.

3. Lash Real Glamour: Volumising and curling mascara in limited edition shade BR600 Sweet Brown with subtle pink pearl.

Cutie Fishball has the scoop on Suqqu's Fall 2013 collection. See swatches of the Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow EX14 Ruridama (LE) and new Bright Up Lip lipsticks here that will be released for this summer.

So Lonely in Gorgeous has great pics of the six new Addiction eyeshadow quads plus swatches. There are also some more swatches in the reviews on Cosme.net. Of the six, only Soda Lunch and Black or White are limited edition. The other four quads are permanent but for the launch, they will be available in a limited edition case featuring artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat. The quads contain 3.4g of product, versus 1.2g for the eyeshadow singles. See the full collection here.

Kate will introduce a new Unlock line on 1 June. This will feature new products encapsulating the latest trends every six months.

1. Glow In The Dark Eyes (1680yen): Eyeshadow palette with five shades that can be layered on top of other eyeshadows for a sparkly effect. The palette also comes with a face art design template.

2. Crack Nail (525yen): Crack nail polish in four shades

3. Crystal Glitter (1260yen): Body glitter with rainbow pearl.

LeSportsac Happy Anniversary Special Edition Mook

To celebrate its 25th anniversary in Japan, LeSportSac will release four special edition mooks. Edition 1 came with a lunch cooler while Edition 2 came with a picnic cooler. Edition 3 (1800yen) will come with a lunch box set in the Cat Dance print while Edition 4 (1470yen) will come with a leisure sheet in the Jamboree print. Editions 3 and 4 are scheduled to be released on 25 May while 1 and 2 were published on 23 April.

Jill Stuart Bon Mariage and Mook

Hi again, thanks for all the kind comments left on my previous post. It's been a really good break for me and I think I'll still post about new collections coming up, if the mood strikes. On hiatus

Hi,
I'm taking a break from blogging and I don't have any plans to resume in the near future. It's basically a loss of interest in makeup and with that, there's not much point in continuing. I very much appreciate all who have been reading and checking back regularly. It's been a long journey and I've enjoyed it, but it's time to move on when something doesn't excite you anymore.
