Lancome recently released another batch of Color Design Eye Brightening All-In-One 5 Shadow & Liner Palettes for spring. These quints, full of shimmery goodness, seem to be available only in the US where they retail for US$49.
#306 Lavender Grace is a sweet yet sultry combination of pearlish pale pink beige, shimmery lavender, satin smoky grey, blackened violet with purple shimmer and a bronzed rose with gold shimmer that reminds me of MAC Trax.
The palette comes with a pamphlet showing how to create day and night looks in five steps.
The blackened violet liner shade applies darker than it looks at first in the pan.
In the pic below, the top row of swatches was done on bare skin while the bottom row was swatched over Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Most of the shades require a primer in order to show up nicely. Nevertheless, most of the shades feel very smooth to touch.
Using NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base first to prime the lids, I applied the blackened violet shade along the upper lashline, the pinkish beige over the browbone area, the lavender shade in the crease, the grey in the outer corner of the upper lid and the bronzy rose along the lower lashline and blended in the centre of the upper lid.
I find the shades in Lavender Grace to be well-coordinated and easy to blend. However, they do need a good primer to help boost their performance.
List of ingredients.
I've collected quite a number of the Color Design palettes as I like the elegant, travel-friendly packaging and the diverse shade combinations.
The purple medley.
Teals and aquamarines always make my day!

Lovely Lavender :) suiting you well :D
and your collection is pure love :)!!
This looks very pretty on you. Do you find the shimmer / glitter stays put or does it migrate?
hi Victoria,
There was a bit of fallout during the application process, but it was easily cleaned up. I didn't notice any additional fallout after wearing it for a few hours.
hi Moni,
Thanks! :-)
That's good to know, thanks! I hate finding glitter everywhere halfway through the day!

I like Amethyst Glam and Lavndar Grace, they both look so pretty. Which palette do you reach out for ore often?
Oooo, very nice. I didn't even know about this...Lancome is one of those brands I ignore.
These look so lovely and the palette looks gorgeous on you! I don't have any of these Lancome palettes. The shimmer scares me a bit, but I think you might have changed my mind!
