Jill Stuart Spring 2010

Here's a sneak peek from Steady of the Jill Stuart Spring 2010 collection which will introduce a new line of eyeshadow quads, Jewel Crystal Eyes (5250yen). The palette shown in the pic below is listed as #3 but Jill Stuart usually introduces four palettes when it launches a new line.

There are reports on 2Channel that both the Brilliance and Seductive Eyes lines will be discontinued while the eyeshadow singles will be revamped but there has been no official confirmation yet. The Jewel Crystal Eyes is said to be less sparkly with a softer texture than Illuminance Eyes.

The collection also includes this Mix Blush Compact #12 (4725yen), which is coral/orange-themed. Since the current line-up only has up to #10, this means the collection will introduce two new Mix Blush Compacts.

The collection will be released on 22 January in Japan. That's only a few more weeks away so time to start saving up!

Ooooo, softer and less sparkly?! I am intrigued! Do you think the palettes from this collection will be permanent since it's a new line?

Hi evie,
Jill Stuart is easily available online at various websites like Adambeauty and Gooddealer. Or you can ask friends travelling to Hong Kong/Taiwan/South Korea/Japan to buy for you. I think that's what most people do. Japan has the highest prices at the moment though, due to the strong yen.

Hi Catherine,
As the name is Jewel Crystal, I think these will still be quite shimmery. Going by previous collections, the new Jewel Crystal palettes will probably all be permanent with limited edition palettes introduced in later seasons such as maybe Summer/Fall 2010.

yay! I'm looking forward to less sparkle and more shimmer. I guess now would be the time to stock up on the discontinued palettes!

I am MOST excited for two new mix blushes! The quad in the picture looks nice, but also looks the same as some of her other palettes... And what's S40$ equivalent to in USD? That seems like a better redemption program than earning points to redeem for samples :P

Hi justine,
S$40 is about US$28 at the moment. But actually the prices in Sephora Singapore are higher compared to Sephora USA, so the loyalty programme helps to make the products more affordable but Sephora USA still offers a more generous programme (like the discount codes they send out) and much larger range of brands.
