L'Oreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara

Last Saturday, L'Oreal held a bloggers' event to introduce their new Curl Impact Collagene Mascara.

The mascara contains collagene and a curl fixing complex to add up to 13 times more volume while helping to keep lashes curled all day. It is smudgeproof and can be removed with warm water. Curl Impact Collagene is already available in the stores in Singapore, where it retails for around S$26.80. (Saw it on 20% discount at Sasa!) You can stand a chance to win a $100 L'Oreal hamper by answering a simple question on their Facebook page on what is luxury for your eyes.

The unique spiral curler brush is specially designed with two sides to achieve the perfect balance between volumising and curling one's lashes.

Below are the application tips.

In April, L'Oreal will also be releasing four new Open Eyes Pro quads in Turquoise, Icy Purple, Smoky Brown and Vivid Green.

It was great fun as usual hanging out with Amy (Purplio), Kas (Shine, Shimmer & Sparkle), Sarah (Faces by Sarah) and Joey (Joey'space).

It was lovely finally meeting Joey for the first time after reading her blog for so long!

what a pretty team of ladies :) i love how you look in your floral little top :) looks very feminine on you. i am planning to get this curl collagene mascara too after work and i read your review here , that's so rhythm! Haru, can i ask you a question? it has been bothering me for a while, what is the correct way to apply serum and moisturizer actually? i mean the direction; it is downward or upward? because a wrong direction of putting skincare product will also cause breakout or clog our pores so like to ask for your advice here. i remember you shared after the Niu Er session on makeup, you told us for powder, it's downward so i think for skincare it should apply upward? but it seems many people apply cream, serum, gel all downward? confused, appreciate your guidance on this, thanks so much.

hi Ling,
For foundation, I recall that one should apply it downwards for a more natural finish because of the facial hair. As for skincare, it's not so much whether one should apply downwards or upwards. Some brands recommend doing a massage routine when applying moisturiser. Massaging helps to improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage and also helps the skincare product to absorb better.
